We are so glad we chose Hotel Jadran as our accommodation and would recommend it to anyone. Attentive and friendly staff, all speaking English. We have arrived early and our room was ready 1.5h before the official check-in, which was very pleasant. Probably the best feature of the hotel is its private beach. A lot of sunbeds, staff goes there regularly, so you can order a drink or something to eat. Bring your snorkeling gear, as you can observer many fishes there. If you're tired of the private beach, public Sablicevo beach is right behind the corner (3 min walk), as well as a big shopping center (5 min). You can get to the city center in about 30min. Our apartment had a beautiful sea view. There's a dock nearby with industrial ships being un/loaded there, which is interesting to watch. We slept with windows closed and AC usually off and had no troubles sleeping, so don't fear the noise from the dock. The hotel has a very decent hotel gym with a pull-up bar (130kg max load), a collection of quality hexagon-shaped dumbbells ranging from 2.5kg to 25kg (+2.5kg increases), a rowing machine, a bicycle, and wall bars. If there's a room for improvement, it would be breakfasts - objectively, they were okay and quite standard, but we expected a little bit more. We were especially not impressed with the taste of pancakes and desserts (they felt very lackluster), but everybody has different taste.

The staff were fantastic, friendly, happy to help in anyway they could. The chef was wonderful, helped me out with my allergies. The location great overlooking the sea . Sitting on the ample sized balcony with a glass of wine in the evening, overlooking the calm seas just so relaxing. Would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic views. No beach access. Limited dining menu, longish walk to town and dining, we took a taxi. Clean sheets and bedrooms.

Great room on the second floor with a sea view. Very clean, spacious, good bed and extra pillows, plenty of hanging space, helpful information in a booklet, TV (no English channels), safe, little fridge with mini bar (which leaked a little). The bathroom had a good shower, hooks and was spacious. It was very quiet and peaceful sitting on the balcony. The free parking was very useful. The hotel is located a couple of kilometres from town for the restaurants and shops. We didn't mind walking in at all and it helped us to work up an appetite. The breakfast was excellent with a huge choice and something for everyone, with cereals, dried fruits and seeds, salads, cooked options including pancakes and perfectly cooked eggs, cold meat and cheese, and such delicious breads and pastries, plus good coffee and tea. It changed slightly each day. All staff were very good in the restaurant. Staff on reception were also helpful and friendly. We had an excellent stay and highly recommend

Beautiful seaside hotel. Parking and wonderful breakfast included. Excellent friendly staff that speak several languages. Highly recommend. Easy 20 min walk to downtown or short cab or bus. Small beach beside hotel and swimming platform right at hotel.

A great area to swim in the sea with chairs for sunning, very good dinner at the restaurant and a brunch was included in the morning.

The ‘private beach’ was also not more than a few concrete patches, no way near a private beach as described, WiFi was there, but streaming wasn’t possible, even remote working was impossible due to the very low speed. Also disappointing was that the hotel has 10-15 parking spots for a hotel with 69 rooms. Proper parking and internet speed would be minimal services you would expect at 4-star hotel. the breakfast on the balcony was excellent with a great view, but services in general were well below expectations.

The hotel has an amazing view and are situated well if you want to explore the coast. Maybe not the most exciting area in terms of restaurants and bars, but a lovely restaruang nearby was enough for us for two days.

Great location, nice and friendly staff but very poor room. Stayed in Superior room and I really can't tell which criteria were used to name it Superior. Small bad, no coffee machine or water heater with instant coffee and tea, no bottle of water...just a beautiful sea view but that's really not enough for 4 star hotel and Superior room.

The location was good and the views wonderful. Everyone was most helpful. Breakfast and dinner were very good.

Real 4 star service for a great price. Certainly the hotel beach / swimming platform located directly at ground level is a highlight. Snacks and drinks will be served directly from restaurant. Very quiet and efficient aircondition. Excellent service at reception desk. Taxi to city center about 5 eur. One pebble beach is 3 minutes walking distance away.

Hotel comes with a private sea access, nice room with a balcony overlooking the sea, good breakfast buffet, welcoming staff. Apart from these good features, the hotel parking was very small therefore you had to park on busy streets. Fyi, the hotel is located next to a port with cargo unloading non-stop day and night. Sadly, the city of Rijeka was disappointing, not well-maintained and no real points of interest for visitors.

The rooms are very nice and clean and the view is spectacular. Get a seaview room! Had a delicious dinner on the terrace with great service. Everybody was very friendly, can absolutely recommend Hotel Jadran!

Everyone was wonderful, and our room was lovely. But the air conditioner DID NOT WORK. The temperature in Rijeka was 32c/90f. The room was hot when we got into it, and the AC just never cooled it. We thought it would eventually cool the room off, but it did not. Even after running the AC all night, we never got the temperature in the room below 28.

We wanted a one night stop over while traveling in between Zadar and Pula, and this had a lovely sea view. It was lovely sitting on the balcony watching the water. We ate at the hotel restaurant which was really great food. There's a shipping port right next door, which made for interesting viewing of the cargo ship being stacked. We could park easily on the premises. It had a slightly business hotel feel and could do with some updating, but perfect for our needs and a good price.
