A really wonderful hotel, I'm so pleased we came here. When we arrived I was surprised at how wonderful the room was - a big kitchen with loads of appliances, there was even a washer and dryer which was hugely appreciated after several weeks of travelling. There was even coffee and little bottles of rum waiting for us!
The pools, the beachfront, the beautiful garden, the lovely staff, everything was wonderful!
The only moment we weren't very happy was on the first day when we were woken up at nine by the reception calling to see if we wanted housekeeping - we were exhausted when we arrived and needed to catch up on sleep, so that was frustrating. Then the same day a woman came round to the room to give us a hotel newsletter and walked right into the room when she saw us standing in the kitchen behind the bar (we were in our underwear and it was uncomfortable). We asked them not to call or bring us the 'newsletters' any more and they respected our wishes so it was easily remedied.
Would definitely come back.

We had an amazing time! Staff was so friendly, shuttle to village was great! Food and drinks were amazing! We have nothing but great reviews. Highly recommend! Very relaxed setting!

Place is very peaceful. Even though it was fairly busy it always felt quiet. It is close enough to walk into town but far enough to not deal with the kookiness of town. Staff was amazing. Food was better than most restaurants we went to in town.

Wonderful stay. Basically on-call butler service during daytime hours for food. The staff, especially the bar staff, were friendly and accommodating. Quiet, but still able to have fun activities. Thanks Humberto and Kyle. You made our amazing stay even better. Only downside was the limited parking space.

One of the most amazing places I've ever stayed at. It was quiet clean and super friendly. It was like we had the whole place to ourselves. The bed was incredible. The ocean was 30 feet from our door. I would live there if they let me.

5 star service in a beautiful location. Oir room was well appointed. I loved that there was no dining room and they delivered our food where ever we were on the property. Everything felt very private and relaxed. The massage service was amazing.

Our stay at chabil mar was incredible. The resort was immaculate and quiet. It has two beautiful pools and a quaint dock. The beach was kept up very nicely. The resort was maybe a kilometer away from Placencia but they offered a free hourly shuttle and complimentary bikes. We were even able to kayak into town on the free kayaks! The resort might be a bit pricey but for the luxury it was definitely worth it. Excellent place for weddings! They have very big rooms with well appointed kitchens.

My room furniture was too dark, and the curtain did not fully close. The carpet was a hazard. The staff service was excellent. There were too many trees. I felt like I was in the jungle.

My husband and I cannot say enough about what an incredible stay we had at Chabil Mar Villas! They truly roll out the red carpet for their guests. Our villa and the grounds were meticulously maintained and clean. The pools, the pier, the beach, and our porch were all ideal spots to hang out and enjoy the day. We explored restaurants in town, but decided that our favorite was Cafe Mar - the on-site restaurant. They delivered drinks and food wherever we were on the property. The drinks from the bar were all freshly made with high end liquor. They set up multiple excursions for us that were a ton of fun and the shuttle service to and from the airport and into town in the evenings was a great bonus. They bent over backwards to make our stay special and it showed in everything they did. We truly had a 5 star experience. Highly recommend!

This was the type of get away we were looking for. We spent most days relaxing on the pier and enjoying the beautiful view.

Beautiful Resort. Staff was more than excellent. Natalie checked us in and let us change to a better view room at no charge. Large 1 bedroom villa with ocean view. Big kitchen fully stocked. Pools were lovely. Perfect water temp. Room service food the first night was good. Had the lobster pasta. Last couple of days we ordered food and it wasn't quite as good as that first night. We cooked most of our meals or ate in town. Lots of restaurant choices in town.

The customer service was superior and also reflects on how well kept the place is. Would definitely recommend having your stay at Chabil Mar Luxury Villas. There is not anything I can think of that I did not like about our stay there. Just overall great.

A beautiful and intimate resort on the Caribbean. The staff is absolutely wonderful and the accommodations were just perfect. Left Placencia wondering when we could come back. Everything was clean, staff was attentive and they make you feel as if you can request anything and they will make it happen! It's a dream.

Chabil Mar was amazing in every way! The grounds are gorgeous, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, the beach and pools are lovely, the staff is friendly and helpful. Bikes, kayaks, corn hole, etc are free. The food is pretty good, but it's fun to go into Placencia for dinner at various restaurants. Chabil Mar has a shuttle to town in the evenings, which is great, but Placencia is also close enough to walk or bike to.

You can enjoy food,drinks,and appetizers anytime and anywhere on the property (pool,villa,oceanfront,or in the
picturesque dining area). The property is private so it’s there are no loud visitors from nearby establishments. It feels like you have the place to yourself. The views from the villas are breathtaking. The service is beyond the best we have ever had.

The location and amenities were excellent. This was surpassed by the incredible staff. Anita at the front desk is so friendly efficient and Ferdinand at the bar made our trip perfect. We will be back soon

We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodations are as beautiful as the sparkling beaches. Staff were always willing to help, and seemed to love talking about their country. We can’t wait to go back!

Outstanding service, large comfy rooms with a full kitchen, great location and beautiful beach. Rooms are slightly dated and the water has sea grass and some rocks if you plan on swimming from the beach. Overall, I would return in a heartbeat!

Very nice. A little out of the village but its walkable and they have a shuttle and bikes too. The villas are exactly like the pictures and the staff were very nice.

The grounds are immaculate. The villas are spacious and well appointed. This resort is right on the beach and it was so peaceful and quiet and just overall our stay was amazing. The bartenders are great and all the staff were super friendly. Highly recommend this place if staying in Placencia!

We love this place! So beautiful, two amazing pools, beautiful beach. Even during Covid craziness, this place was such a wonderful little oasis of peace, absolutely gorgeous, food is amazing, free kayaks, paddle boards, bikes for rent. We stayed with two small children and they loved it as well! Staff so helpful and friendly! Do not hesitate to book your stay here, you will have the time of your life!

They were keen to help with whatever we needed, and cheerful in doing so. Everyone working here seems cross-trained so that they can each jump in at a moment's notice to make sure we were comfortable. If they needed to confer with someone else, that took only a moment before the right person was there to help.
William, in particular, was enthusiastic and helpful as our beach captain.
He had our gear ready and helped us master the use of the kayaks and paddle boards. We noticed, too, that while were out on the water, life jackets on, William keep one eye on the water to know we were ok. That did not go unnoticed!
