This was a last minute book, my error. This property is just old. The staff was nice. The beds are terrible. The blankets are not great. The blow dryer was lacking. Parking was great and safe.

Quiet and easy walk to shopping and dining options. Older hotel but has been remodeled nicely with a small kitchenette.

Stayed only 1 night at this property. Very small room, loud, uncomfortable bed. No wine glasses, no complimentary morning coffee, rude office staff. Nearby beach charges $30 to use it. Surprise charge of $70 for my 2 small dogs to stay. No I would not stay again. Should have went with the other choices I looked at.

No pool or hot tube.

The bed was very uncomfortable. I woke up with a sore back, otherwise it was good for the price.

Other than not us providing enough advance notice of us having a dog and being roomed upstairs, the stay was comfortable. I did not agree with the amount I had to pay for one night when there is no breakfast

The AC makes too much noise.

Hotel charged $39.80 for us to check in early. The room we were given was an ADA room and I was told it was because we had a dog. The room had a restaurant kitchen mat as the entry floor mat. The desk and wardrobe was made of cheap pressed wood, the two chairs available were metal patio furniture. The bed had no electrical outlets next to it so changing phones, computers etc had to done on the other side of the room. The “kitchenette” was awful as you can see by the photos. The Lobby was locked and if you needed service you had to call the motel, use the phone tree to get through then they would walk over from “Secrets” the hotel next door. Reception was unfriendly and cold. Even though we paid the $39.80 for the early check in, I felt I was annoying him by asking to check in early, also I could only pay in cash, yet every other transaction was with a card. The bed was passable but not comfortable. We checked out at 4:50am due to the overall condition of the room and bed.

Our room was large with laminate flooring. Bathroom was clean & the bed comfy. I assume the flooring was due to dogs being allowed so easy cleaning. The same company has next door Secrets does not allow dogs and is more "couples orientated", whatever that means! Would stay again.

Comfortable bed and convenient to good restaurants.

Tried to cancel the room took forever to get it only to find out its non refundable then got call later from hotel saying they didnt get notice so i got taken for four hundred dollars i will not be using you guys again!!!!!

Upgraded flooring and kitchenette. Bathrooms need to be remodeled/updated for 5 stars.

Enjoyed our stay. Good, clean room and staff. Great access to lake and casinos. A little noisy at times, but would still come back.

The room was not like the pictures, it was missing the night stands, the was no sink in the bathroom, and no big comfortable chair to sit in. The worst part was the bed, it was unstable so if my wife or I moved during the night the whole bed moved and woke the other person. It was so bad that my wife slept on the floor our last night there and we headed home a day early.

Looks like they tried to upgrade the place, but jetted tub was from 70s and bathroom could use a little updating. Things just weren’t like the pictures.

Walkable convenient

Check in was easy & pleasant. The room - spacious & clean. The bed was clean & comfortable. Unfortunately, there was NO closet, No vanity to place one's toiletries, no chest or dresser to place one's clothes.The only place to sit was a hard metal chair that sat at a "desk" that was unpainted plywood attached to the wall. I also was unable to locate a remote control for the TV. This place could be really nice if they would invest in furniture. Would love to see it updated. The staff was excellent, the area beautiful.

Great no-frills mountain inn close to everything South Lake Tahoe has to offer, both winter and summer. Check-in was prompt and easy, even allowed me to check in a couple hours early at no charge so I could get some runs in on my day of arrival. Stayed here for two weeks, had to change rooms during the stay due to availability, but the change was seamless and the office was able to hold my luggage and I didn’t miss a day of activity. Office is not manned 24 hours a day, but that did not present an issue during my stay. My unit had a full kitchen with all the necessary utensils, large shower, remote controlled fireplace, and speedy internet. Perfect for a solo traveler on an extended trip, and the midweek rates are hard to beat.

There was a misunderstanding initially where we thought the room we booked gad Stove but it did not. Mitch at the Reception was very helpful and he gave excellent service and helped us by giving room that had kitchen. Overall I was very happy with the service.

Clean close to the gondola and friendly staff.

Place was ok for the price and location but the whole night there was some weird sound in a pattern and upper floor creaking that did not let us sleep properly. Stay in upper floor if you want to sleep.
