We had a wonderful time! Such a quaint spot surrounded by all the beauty of Ouray. It is in walking distance to town. We loved the accessibility to all the tubs. It was quiet, well run and the front desk was great. The rooms are pretty basic but nice.

This was our second stay and the service was great, property very clean and the hot tubs were fabulous. Our room needed some love and it was a bit dated but overall, a great time.

Awesome place to stay! Just like any other place in the area, it does cost more. But for good reason staying in this beautiful town.
Employee was pleasant. They do close the hot pools WAY too early. barely had time to relax once we got there before they kicked everyone out. Definitely recommend keeping them open for an extra hour. Most hot springs we've been to always close at 11pm so this was weird.
Room was as good as it should've been. and we liked how the springs were integrated into the property! Relaxing place to stay.
Our room door had an issue with catching on the side because it was damaged but it worked ok. Overall, this is a great stay and would recommend. We'll be back.

This is basically a two-story motel next to the woods. They have updated the rooms but their handyman definitely needs some help with perfection. This is the type of place to stay when you're looking to hike and need a place to sleep. Some of the guests above us and next to us were not very quiet and this type of room doesn't offer sound blocking.

Ouray is beautiful. The hot spring tubs on the property are incredibly convenient and lovely. The rooms need updating- it smelled VERY musty and the tub in the bathroom was lined with mildew. When walking on the upstairs walkway your foot about goes through the floor in some spots. This place could be incredible with some upgrades and a little better upkeep. Beautiful location.

The place was great. It could use a little more upgrades for the price you pay per night. But the location was great and the staff was very helpful. They might want to keep an eye on the hot springs tubs and the cleanliness of the water. Overall, not bad at all. Would stay there again

Great place to stay! Right near box canyon! And the perimeter trail. Also close to town you can walk to a pizza place just down the block. Outstanding service the front desk clerk was 100/10. Will definitely stay here again. Had everything you need WiFi/coffee/laundry/hot springs/ outdoor fire pit/ dog friendly/ super friendly staff/ spacious rooms… it has everything.

This was our first trip to Ouray & stayed at the Box Canyon Lodge because it’s pet friendly. We were happy with the location, the mineral hot tubs & the cute clean rooms. Dylan, the front desk worker, was super friendly & helpful. We will stay here again if we ever make it back to Ouray.

The 7 Hot tubs filled from the Hot Sprins out of the mountai, were amazing. We sat in them morning and night and the views while sitting in them were breathtaking. The property was so well kept and tucked up against the mountain. So cute! Looked like something from Switzerland. Nice and helpful Staff!

The room appeared to have been recently remodeled / restyled. It was very tastefully done. Even the blinds in the windows were of extremely good quality. The toiletry products were amazing - Bee Kind. Plus they placed these in large dispensers in the shower and at the sink, showing good eco-friendly practice. It was a good breakfast offering as well. The only thing they could improve upon is the view outside of room #2 overlooking the back of the room had some outside drainage issues.

The front desk person was not friendly at all. You need to have your own streaming service login to watch many regular channels. The area is beautiful and the hot springs are very nice. We just felt that the service was lacking.

Our first trip to Ouray. We enjoyed our stay at Box Canyon Lodge. It looked updated, nice decor and comfortable bed. We had our pet with us so we were given a pet friendly room on ground level. We could see it had been stayed in by other pets because of scratches and chewed spots on the furniture. I also noticed the flooring was a bit soiled. Our pet accidentally knocked his travel bowl of water on the floor and when I wiped it up the napkin was very dirty. Other areas of the room were very clean like the bathroom and higher surfaces. Clean bed, sheets and pillows. It had all the amenities we like in a room and it was walking distance to shops and restaurants. We are already planning to return next year with family.

That was the happiest mistake I have ever made! I meant to book the hotel next door but booked Box Canyon Lodge instead. I loved it there so much. They had brand new uncrowded pools with unbelievable views. Robin at the front desk was so incredibly nice and the room was comfy and clean. It’s my new favorite place to stay in Ouray. We will definitely be back.
