The innkeeper,Kim, is a real treat and pleasure to talk with. Her staff was great and went out of their way to make our stay very pleasant. The breakfast was wonderful. We recommend staying at Lang House when you are in Burlington.

Homely, welcoming atmosphere was a huge bonus, it was like coming home. Our hostess Kim was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. She is a genuinely lovely person and put us at ease immediately. There were no negatives to our stay, I wouldn't think twice about staying there again.

Lovely place to stay. The staff were incredibly polite and welcoming. The location was great as it was within walking distance to Church St and to UVM. The room (Fisher) was very comfortable with a nice size private bathroom. I would keep in mind that the bed was very high up so it would not work well for the less mobile. It was however, extremely comfortable. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious!

I had the most wonderful time staying with my boyfriend at the Lang House on Main Street. The house was charming, the room was comfortable and full of personality, the staff was friendly, and the location was convenient, within walking distance of downtown Burlington. The absolute highlight was the incredibly delicious breakfast, cooked to order in the morning. After breakfast, we sat in the living room with a blanket and had coffee watching the rain outside. I have been to other bed and breakfasts in the US and in Europe, and this was my favorite bed and breakfast experience by far. I highly recommend a stay at the Lang House for a quintessential New England B&B experience!

This is my third time staying with the lovely folks at Lang House. Once again, they did not disappoint. The ambiance is wonderful throughout. With off street parking and lovely gardens, it is a pleasure to move about the property. Once inside the decorum is comfortable and inviting. Rooms are well appointed with nice furnishings and comfy beds. The tea station downstairs is a nice touch for a late night cup. Breakfast is tasty and wonderfully presented. Everything about the place is thoughtfully put together to make your stay enjoyable, I highly recommend it!

We were only in town for one night but we had a wonderful stay at Lang House. The location is perfect - between UVM and Church Street. Kim and the staff are welcoming and so helpful. The House is beautiful and comfortable. The food was delicious. We can't wait for our next visit.

Loved our stay at Lang House. We had things to do on campus and downtown and like to walk so the location was perfect. The building is beautiful and very nicely appointed, the staff wonderful and the breakfast was excellent.

Room where clean but ok hotel

Our stay at the Lang House was my first experience with a bed and breakfast and we loved it. My husband and I stayed there as part of an anniversary trip. The room was comfortable and cozy. The staff was very friendly. But the food was my favorite part of the experience. Breakfast each morning was my favorite meal of the day, the food was amazing. And every afternoon there would be a sweet treat waiting and I couldn't wait to try it! If we ever go back to Burlington, the Lang House would be top of my list to stay again.

I have only great things to say about the Lang House. Beautiful, charming, lovely, spacious room with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Delicious, gourmet breakfast. Freshly brewed local coffee awaiting me in the morning to help myself to. Tea and freshly baked cookies available all afternoon and evening. (everything Im mentioning included in the price). Breakfast offerings and cookies change daily. Very kind, friendly staff. One afternoon I was relaxing in the common room and the front desk girl, Danielle, said she had just brewed some coffee and would I like some! Another young man, Aaron, suggested local restaurants and they were all great! I have stayed in several different hotels in Burlington since my son attends Champlain College and this will be the only place I stay in the future. Loved it! (By the way Champlain College is right across the street and UVM is right down the street.) Short walk to town.
