The weather and the location is just perfect

My stay was very good. HOTEL was very clean and the genaral staff was very very nice and helpful. The only two staff members that were not helpful were one of the receptionist lady that I asked her where can i get some change for a 100 pound bill and where can I exchange some US dollars and she (rudely) answered me (I don't know). An answer that should never come out of a receptionist of a reputable Hotel like Radisson blu. Same answer came from the concierge on the counter next to the reception area. I got the change i need and the information for where to exchange currency from the Most friendly face in this Hotel.(The restaurant manager during breakfast) Also the Kids pool was closed.

Great hotel to get away from it all. Very helpful staff and great amenities. They are doing some renovations so I think the place will look even nicer soon.

We stayed in the Radisson Blu in a recent trip to Alexandria, 4 friends in 2 rooms. They were amazing accommodating us with early check-ins since we had been traveling for close to 30 hours. The food was good. The personnel super friendly. It's far away from the city so plan to spend in taxis or ubers for at least 45 minutes.

hotel look new but its furniture and material inside is outdated

The hotel was nice overall just far away from downtown. It didnt state this in the booking so the hassle of going into town of paying a lot for a car and time is what i didnt like

All hotel i had stay, only Radisson is impressive service and consistent assistance. I highly recommend it to all.

I stayed here for two nights on my last business trip to Alexandria. For the most part it was a pleasant stay. The hotel staff was very nice and accomodating. Room service menu had a nice selection and the service was quick and arrived hot. The free wifi was nice, as most hotels I stay in on my business travels charge per day for wifi. The room was very large with a large balcony. The rooms and the hallways were a bit run down. The sliding door on the balcony was broken and would not lock. The air conditioning unit started leaking water all over the floor the morning that I checked out. The little details were where I felt the hotel was most lacking. The pillows were absolutley awful. They were very lumpy and extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. The floor of the hotel room was tile and the hotel did not provide slippers or robes. There were also no toiletries provided other than the basic shampoo, conditioner and bath gel. Perhaps I have become spolied by the hotels that I have stayed at in the past. Overall a decent hotel but there is definitely much room for improvement.

If you just need to stay one night for a layover, it's ok. If you want to stay more, you should have your own car. It's very far from anything. Also, the area smells, so don't go out on your balcony. The only good thing about the hotel was the pool. The breakfast was fair. The dinner, which was way overpiced, was not worth anything. It looked like it sat out all day. They made the beds and changed the towels. Didn't appear to clean the floors. We had to ask for an extra towel each day for the third person in the room. Apparently it's to hard to count to 3. They did not replenish the tea or coffee packets. Definately not star quality. Disappointing.

Where to start? Having planned our trip to Cairo we decided to make a quick journey to Alexandria as friends had recommended it. We chose the RADISSON BLU ALEXANDRIA NORTHERN COAST RD as it was 4 star. We found this motel to be situated 3/4 hrs drive from the town and had no tourist attractions near. As there were 4 in the patry we asked for 1 double and 2 twin beds, this did not happen... after check in and finding our way to the room we found only 1 bed and a not too clean room. The porter sent to bring the extra beds had no english and was very hard to communicate with. The hotel surrounds were dirty with food scraps and drink containers left on tables and paper left to blow about with the breeze. It had a very blu sorry feel to it. The advertised ammenities eg hairdresser, travel shop, gift shop... not in existance and the desk staff were unable to provide brochures and information as they "Had None Left".They couldn't find any. So as a Radisson Hotel tjis one does not live up to the standards of it's partners. NO I would not recommend nor stay here again.

This hotel is miles from anywhere, surrounded by spare building plots with nowhere to stroll. But,.....it is luxurious, the staff at 1am were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Our room on the ground floor was huge, and had a large patio overlooking the swimming pool complex. The furnishings in the room and bathroom were top of the range and the whole 'suite' was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was buffet style with very attentive waiters and egg chefs. We were sorry to leave the hotel the next day.

The Radisson Blu is beautiful, modern and spacious. It is located, however, in Alex West, about 40 minutes from the central Alexandira rail station. There is no good transportation to /from the hotel and downtown, only a free shuttle departing at 7:30 pm and returning at 10:30 pm from Carrefour, which is about 2/3 of the way to town. A taxi will run about 50 - 70 Egypt pounds (US 9.00 - $12.00). Hotel has a surprisingly excellent Italian restaurant that is both romantic and inexpensive. The pool area is spacious and well maintained. Summary: excellent hotel in far away place. Great for relaxation but not so great for sightseeing.

We were extremely pleased with the service and the quality of this hotel. It had just been open 4 months and some services (banking) weren't available yet, but the property was very nice. The room was very spacious with a large balcony overlooking the property. We would recommend this hotel highly.

This hotel, while beautiful, is literally located in the middle of no where. The hotel has a nice pool and nice restaurants, but there is nothing around the hotel, forcing you to eat at the VERY expensive hotel restaurants. Avoid it all costs!!!

An excellent hotel. Very freindly and proffesional staff. Spacious bedroom and bathroom with good quality funishings and fittings. Everything kept very clean, which I believe is sometimes difficult to find in Egypt. Breakfast and dinner is buffet style, the quality and choice is excellent, some of the best I have eaten for some while (I am a very experienced business traveller). The only problem with this hotel at present is that although the hotel shell is built only a quarter of the rooms are completed. Tennis courts and one swimming pool is still to be built, outdoor pool on the second floor is fully functional. The hotel is situated on a large new development called Alex West where nothing else has finished being built, the shopping centre is a big hole in the ground! All the surrounding area is a vast building site. If you dont need surrounding facilites then this is a great hotel for business or a couple of nights stop over on a tour. In assume the present hotel rating of 3 stars is due to the unfinished nature of the hotel and surroundings, as the completed areas are certainly 5 star.
