This place has a great location. It is very close to the ferry. Beautiful landscaping, beautiful pool. It is quiet relaxing, like an oasis from the street. Staff is friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

- excellent and fresh breakfast
- WiFi only available at reception not in the room!
- rooms were spacious
- when we arrived the receptionist only spoke Italian No English, French, German or Spanish. Difficult to communicate.
- we asked to replace one bed. It was an old bedframe and made a lot of noise.
- there was a blood stain on the bed cover. We asked to replace it. Staff said it was no blood.
Conclusion: very nice place but some things need attention.

Residence La Giara was a perfect location for our stay in Lipari. Our apartment was spotless and the garden was beautiful. The pool, though small was fine.
