I have stayed at that hotel a few times . There are parking issues consistently every time . Valet kiosk not available when they are supposed to . In one ocasión the car’s lights were left on all night and the battery was discharge the next day . Not happy with the parking service .

Booked an Ocean View, but hotel blamed this web site for labeling it wrong, in spite of paying more for it. Hotel charged more, then kicked us out of the beachfront room. They put us in a room next to the gym. Heard weights hitting the floor at night into the a.m. Very bad experience.

My spouse & I had another enjoyable time at this hotel, in Huntington Beach, visiting family, walking the pier, eating good food, watched the sunset, made s'mores; highly recommend staying here. Kid, pet, adult friendly. Thank you.

Booked a room for a wedding we were attending. Super close a d accessible for us and our kiddos. Huge bathtub. Only recommendation is fans in the bathroom.

The Kimpton Shorebreak was a wonderful hotel with the perfect vibe for Huntington Beach. We loved the open air, courtyard, lobby, and restaurant. We could see everything going on in the heart of town right from our room. We walked to amazing restaurants for breakfast lunch and dinner. We lived using the free bikes! We booked the suite with two king beds, and it was wonderfully spacious for our family of four. We thoroughly enjoyed the free cocktails in the evening and s’mores for the kids. We would 100% stay at this hotel every time we are in Orange County! Until next time, California!

Great location is the main reason to stay here. They could improve on customer service by always having 2 people behind the counter. I'd prefer to have the coffee in my room than down in the lobby.

Excellent Hotel with great staff. Gym is very good if you are into that. Social hour, free coffee and s'mores are a nice touch. Location is great with many dining options within walking distance. The HB pier is 1 minute away. Also, they have many beach items that they will gladly give you to use as well as rental bikes!

we loved the hotel! the location was amazing and the staff was so nice and helpful. all of the things you are able to use and borrow was very helpful. the only thing that we did not like was the tiny mirror in the bathroom. you definatley could have a huge mirror over the whole counter,. it made it hard for all us girls to get ready. i would definatley stay here again! so fun!

It has a great Hunting beach vibe and some quirky features, however, I would not rate this as a 4 star, as the overall cleanliness of the room was not up to scratch, very dusty and hardly attention in getting the room cleaned. Overall, I would say its a 3 star hotel but would not consider coming back to this hotel in future.

Super cool hotel, lots of free amenities for hotel guests, free beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, bicycle rentals- not to mention amazing courtyard with bonfires and free s’more kits, … and free drinks for happy hour!!!

I called in advance and requested hypoallergenic pillows. She told me she made a note under my name and reservation. When I arrived the receptionist told me that there was note and their house keeping had left for the day.

Firepits and smores were great. Lobby water with cucumbers and oranges were refreshing. Close to the beach. Complementary drinks and snacks were appreciated.

A pretty average stay! Everything about the place was just ok, not quite worth the price. The room is nice but unremarkable, and can get noisy at certain points. The staff felt aloof, and it took repeated asking to get things (took a couple of times to get a water bowl for my dog and the one given to me was dirty). Nice location though, but I’d likely look for an Airbnb in the area than stay here again.

Overall great experience… I didn’t realize there is no pool but there is a very nice patio area with comfortable seating and fire pits. Our balcony was so small you couldn’t sit on it…literally. So if you enjoy sitting on a balcony check the size that comes with your room. And the street noise level on the ocean side was very high so if that bothers you at night then I wouldn’t recommend ocean view. The Pacific restaurant was great for breakfast a couple of mornings but other than that we ate outside of the hotel.
