Central hotel, easy access. Good condition. The service in the restaurant was exemplary. The heating system appears to be very environmentally-unfriendly: there is an air pump that goes on and off constantly, and there is nothing to keep the temperature at a certain level, so the energy consumption must be unreasonably high. The hot air system is also very inefficient, the temperature in the common areas was very low, although the weather was not too cold yet.

A no frills, clean hotel close to the City Squares!! A good bargain!

Buy the breakfast- hot/cold buffet with good choices. Old world service was wonderful to experience at this hotel during dinner in the restaurant. Recommend this place.

The hotel was amazing, certainly for the price we paid. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was extremely friendly. They were very flexible and even prepared breakfast bags for us when we had to leave early. An excellent experience.

I lived on this street for over 20 years. It was refreshing to stay in room 18 when my previous address was 18 Tudor Vladimirescu.

Nice stay, good team, good Wifi. But.... breakfast was included when I booked on Hotels.com and I discovered at check in that it was not!

The location was close to the city center. The room was clean. Our only complaint was that our breakfast was included with our room when we booked with hotels.com. when we checked out they made us pay for our breakfast again saying it wasn't included. After showing our booking receipt that said it was included they still charged us saying they can't remove the charge. Won't stay there again due to this.

Savoy is a decent hotel, but I was a bit disappointed about the parking facilities. I took a more expensive formula because it included the parking space, yet that parking was full on several occasions. The staff was overall quite friendly, yet one girl doing the reception and bar was absolutely not. We also often had to wait quite long at the bar or reception because there was nobody there to help us. I expect better service in a hotel like this.

Very clean hotel, rather small but comfortable, ideal location right in the heart of the city, close to universities, as well. Excellent for a trip to Timisoara. The cost is not high. Small parking spot, tough, that can be a problem. Friendly staff, good breakfast.

Comfortable and clean room. Well located for the University (UPT).

Good hotel. One weak point - the free airport transfer should be booked very early in advance, probably even before you book the hotel - some other guests also mentioned it was not possible to use the free transfer, maybe is not available at all...

Hotel is located centrally in the old city. Rooms interior; no noise. Breakfast 10, service same. Free shuttle to and from airport. Near the Rose Garden, Bega canal.

AC was not working but was fixed quickly. Overall a good stay. Especially, Adrin was wonderful. He helped me to book a shuttle to Belgrade.

Very nice hotel with spacious and elegant rooms. The restaurant downstairs offers excellent meals and service. Location is great as well, walking distance from the cathedral.

Good position, very friendly staff, clean and big room

I’ve stayed many times at this hotel and the reason I return is its consistency. The rooms are always very large, with very comfy mattress and pillows, there is cleanliness, sufficient storage space, and good bathrooms. The staff is always helpful. Regarding breakfast, while not exceptional, it has salad, sandwich ingredients, some hot options (sausage, sometimes scrambled eggs) and most importantly every day some homemade cake, usually apple cake. The restaurant, open after breakfast, makes delicious food. All in all, I cannot fault this hotel which has become my work and life base in Timisoara for the past two years.

Hotel Reception Alina was not very willing to help to resolve issues from the Expedia booking, unlike other hotel properties we stayed through Expedia booking.Room is big (we booked a suite), but the shower does not work.

When you visit Timisoara, you should consider this hotel first. Well situated close to city old center, surrounded by parks it is the perfect location for a relaxed stay.

New mattresses! I've stayed here probably six times and what a difference the new mattress I had made! Additionally, location is great, as is the breakfast spread they offer. Additionally -- I arrived at 8:00am and they were able to let me check-in so I could shower before my full day of meetings. 5+ stars!
