I had an absolutely fabulous stay at the Skylark, which prompted me to extend for a few days. To a person, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The pool area was delightful, and the restaurant onsite, Lost Property, has amazing food. Needless to say, this is a hearty recommendation.

The office, a cool lookin trailer is an awesome touch, the room! Spacious and clean! The bathroom look like it’s used for magazines cause it looks newly remodeled and clean! Super clean which anyone can appreciate

This hotel is a remodeled 50's era hotel. They did a nice job and kept that 50's feel with mid century modern furniture. The bed was very comfortable. The pool was quite clean and warm. It was 116° that day. I enjoyed the nostalgia.

Nice atmosphere. Room is large and very clean. Feels like a newer hotel. Refrigerator has a small freezer attached. No microwave in room but I was allowed to use hotel's microwave to cook my potato. TV and internet work well. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Friendly staff. Easy check in.

We had a great weekend getaway here. The pool was perfect and vibe was friendly and relaxed. Room was clean and comfortable. They are renovating the bar by the pool but that was not a big deal for us. Free breakfast is just okay but convenient especially when traveling with kids. We will be back!

Second stay at Skylark and it was perfect. This hotel is small in size but huge in charm. The staff is always amazing and welcoming, the all night pool is an absolute plus and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Can’t wait for the restaurant to open. This is our go-to for our Palm Springs getaways.

This a great hotel to stay at if you’re not doing the resort thing in Palm Springs. Gives you that old Palm Springs feel. Super clean and great homemade breakfast. Would stay here again.

Loved the MCM decor, the salt water pool open 24 hrs. Great little radio in my room although I couldn’t figure out how to get on Bluetooth. My only complaint is the ac didn’t work so great in my room.

Cool vibe, friendly staff and convenient location. Only issue was the smell in the room. I can’t figure out what it was but it seeped into all of belongings.

We love the Skylark so much. We’ve been coming a few times a year for 3 years now and it’s been so great seeing the property improve each time with the renovation that’s underway. It’s so great to have the breakfast each morning, especially when we bring our kids.
One thing that could be improved is increasing the number of hooks in the bathroom to hang towels/wet bathing suits. Also some kind of shower caddy/suction shelf in the shower.
Regardless, I’ve already booked my return trip for later this year :)

I chose this hotel for the location. My room was comfortable, clean, and had everything I needed. The pool area was very nice and the free breakfast was an unexpected bonus. Every single staff member I encountered was kind and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.

Really cool, retro motel in a great part of town with a nice pool and breakfast facilities. The hotel would be really great when they open up their cocktail bar which is currently under Construction.

I really enjoyed the throwback feel of this hotel, and the proximity to everything you would want to visit in Palm Springs. The room was clean, the pool was heated and the hot tub was great, and the free breakfast was above par. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable and easy place to stay.

The room was clean the staff was very nice. The parking sucked. It had a lovely pool and jacuzzi. I realize they were doing a lot of work on it.

The best parts of the room was it's large size, comfort, and places to store clothing. The breakfast was also better than we expected, although the quiche gets cold quickly (although even then it was tasty). The downside was the drain on our shower worked poorly and it never got fixed (over a weekend). The location was great: an easy 5 minute ride to downtown, very near the aerial tramway, but in a quiet location.

Classic Palm Springs vibe with a nice pool and rooms with beautiful Mountain View’s. The vintage design combined with the view was very relaxing. Hotel was very clean and the staff was super friendly and very sweet. We had a great time and we’ll be back for a longer stay next time.

The hotel was easy to find and is little out of the main area but there walkable are dining options nearby. Breakfast was buffet style but not particularly impressive but adequate, an option for fried or poached eggs would better. The room was fine but lacking along with many American hotels power points next to the bed. A good choice if you happen to be in Palm Springs.

Outside is under construction but inside is adorable with a great fresh breakfast, sweet staff, clean and spacious room. Great location.
