Hotel room walls were paper thin I could hear everything around me and other surrounding rooms all night long, the bed was terribly uncomfortable, and the air condition was erratic. The room was either stifling hot or freezing cold. The bathroom was subpar for the price I paid the room was, very overpriced

Good solid budget friendly hotel. Nice clean property in a nice location. Great friendly staff. Will return on our next visit.
One item of note, they have the thinnest toilet paper of any hotel in the world.

I had to have taxes taken off for the government rate and it was a nightmare to do so. I have never had this much trouble with having the room charged at the correct rate.

Everything was fine, and the female attendant on duty when we arrived was extraordinary helpful and resourceful. The only negative was that the bed was too narrow for my wife and I even though we are small people, and we might not again select Microtel because of that.

Good price for a decent hotel. For me, the bed was a bit uncomfortable. They also provided three pillows of varying firmness but they were half pillows (too small). I will stay again when i return in the future but I’ll bring my own pillow. A/C was a bit noisy (clicking sound at odd times woke me). So minor gripes, otherwise great.

Room wasn’t ready at 7 pm when check in was 3. Room was well equipped but very small. Breakfast was underwhelming

The bathroom was dirty including the shower curtain. Window had black mold in window which had my daughters allergies act up. Went to Walmart and purchased cleaning supplies and air fresheners to prepare the room for our 2 days stay.
Lastly we didn’t receive a friendly welcome I felt like an unwanted guest…I will never stay at any of these hotels in the future.

Property is old. Room has an old carpet smell. Bath tub faucet malfunctioning. If you open the tap, shower opens up, it can’t be controlled since the shower tap can’t be closed.

I noticed that The room smelled of mold and mildew as soon as I walked in. I thought the shower only had cold water. I was accommodated immediately but had to move to a different room to shower! I later had a note on my door from maintenance that said the faucet is backwards but there is cold water.

The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy, but it would have been really nice to have a quieter fan in the bathroom and a mini nightlight in the bathroom.

Terrible hotel. It’s very dated, and the rooms are TINY. No space to move about. The toilet was in awful shape - toilet seat was so worn that I didn’t want to use it. The key cards didn’t work to the side doors of the hotel. No staff managing the front desk when I stopped by around 1:30 pm. Breakfast options not great. Will not stay there again.
