At first they gave us a room that the light was not working and it was very hot. Then on the second room the lights were working but the room had a funny smell. The hallways and elevator had no AC. The breakfast was not good. we had to wait like 20-30 minutes for someone to come and refill the food. There was no decaf coffee. The rooms need an upgrade too.

Our stay was excellent. We were very comfortable and a perfect location for getting to our granddaughter's wedding and other activities and visiting family.

I stayed here 2 nights on business and the hotel is very clean, breakfast had a good selection of things to eat. Two down side things, AC was not cold enough even set on 68 and didn’t blow high, when set on high and the hotel could use better towels than ones you get at a Motel 6

This hotel was very unsatisfactory. The elevator was not working; all customers had to use the stairs. Unfortunately, the property lost power due to a hurricane and there were no breakfast amenities or room cleaning.

A bit dated but clean and comfortable. Great location for staying the bight before your cruise sails out of Galveston.

The front desk clerk was nice and attentive. And that’s the best part of this place. The room itself seemed to still be going through renovations. It had a ceiling fan with light that both didn’t work. Bathroom tiles near the shower/bathtub that would pop up when you walked near them or on them. Cracks all near the bathtub. And there were no towels in the room. But hit up my friendly desk clerk and he gave me towels. The coffee is the worst coffee I have ever had at a hotel, never thought I would be able to distinguish that, but this one took the cake on that award. Breakfast was decent, not amazing, not the worst. This place charges more than the other hotels nearby. And you would probably have better luck at the cheaper hotels in the area than here.

This property was wonderful. We had a 1 bedroom suite which was very spacious. It was perfect for my family of 5! Highly recommend this hotel!

Nick, the front desk, were attentive and went out of his way to ensure that we were comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. Nick was the BEST front desk person I have had the pleasure of meeting!! Quality of service, cleanliness and amenities were EXCELLENCE!! The room were spacious and spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets! The bathroom were spacious as well and great brand name "Dove" soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner!! I enjoyed it so much!! This hotel very CLEANLINESS AND 100% SATISFIED! I would book it AGAIN when I'm in town again!

It was ok but when I arrived they didn’t have a king bed room like I booked so they wanted me yobstsybin a 2 queen bed room and told them I would just cancel and hi some where else and then they gave me a handicap room with a king bed

The overall stay was very good. The buffet breakfast had more flavor in the offerings of hot food than most. It was good! The phone in the room did not work. No dial tone at all. The duvet on one of the beds was soooo lumpy. If you held it up to the light you could see where all the fabric was totaly bunched up into big balls. So uncomfortable. The other was perfect. We didn't use the pool as it was thunder, lightning and raining off an on during our stay. The staff were wonderful.

This property was way more than what I expected. Our room was upgraded to a deluxe king suite, 1 bedroom. Upon opening the door, I was amaze at the a size of this room. It could actually be an apartment based on the size of it. We throughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly. The property was well kept. If I should have to travel back to this area, I will definitely be selecting this property again.

The elevator had a smell that was not appealing. Hallways are narrow and hard to maneuver the luggage carts. I was charged an additional $8 at the property even though I had already paid through booking website and I don’t know what that was for.

Very nice property, nice staff. It was a little humid when we walked in the front door but I think they were in the middle of fixing the issue. Our room felt very cool when we walked in. Everything was cleaned, sanitized and sealed with sanitation stickers/labels. Didn’t hear any noise from other rooms or even in hallway. Definitely would stay again.

Hotel was good overall. We’ve stayed here before, my daughter has dance competitions here yearly.
Only cons were toilet seat was very loose, humidifier in room kept saying empty (it wasn’t) and the hotel lobby, breakfast area and halls were extremely warm.

The property was close to everything. THE grounds and floweres were pretty and well maintained.

They charged my credit card the morning before we got there. I was going to use a different card when I got there. That one was just supposed to hold it. I called to ask about it but the desk clerk was difficult to understand and kept talking over me.

The exterior and lobby of the hotel were nice. The room was ok. The pillows were very lumpy and the microwave was dirty under the plate, even after we asked for it to be cleaned. The telephone didnt work. Not a terrible stay but below average.

Room was okay. Bathroom needs work. Water pressure is fair at best. Tub needs caulking. Ceiling over the shower head needs scraping, patching and painting. Towel’s barely dried me. Very thin and not very big. Breakfast was okay.

People were great. First impression walking in. Is a smell. IMO I believe it is the couch in the main hall. I was thinking about leaving and went to the room. No musky smell or anything in the room. Some grout needs to be cleaned more. But you can still smell the clean smell of the rooms. I will be coming back

Need to have someone at the front desk that can speak legibly and answer questions and not have hair down to his shoulders and a ski cap on and look completely unprofessional with several teeth missing. We were told we could “not” get a printout to show a zero balance because booked through hotels.com. That has never been the case.

116! Had a sanitized label across the toilet seat so either it wasn’t cleaned or housekeeping didn’t report problem. Offer to move to room witn 2 queens vs king. Was here in November and had to change out burnt out light bulbs. Will be talking to manager tomorrow.

The bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean and spacious. We were disappointed that the treadmill was not working. Also the smoke detector in our room was dangling by a cord, not sure if it actually worked. There was also a very noisy dehumidifier in our room- guessing it was to get rid of musty smell. Breakfast was slightly above average as far as budget hotels go.
