Great location and welcoming staff. A/C was good and room met our needs. Great breakfast that offers variety of options with fresh bread, croissants and meat and cheeses. Elevator is available. Enjoyed our stay.

Good value. Room had all necessary amenities and the staff was very helpful. I drove to hotel to drop off luggage which was a bit challenging, and then parked in offsite recommended facility for 15 euro per night which is about a 10 minute walk from hotel.

we were not sure about going to Padua on our 8 week holiday in Italy but are so glad we did. it is such a beautiful city and we had an amazing time.
regarding Albergo Verdi - i could easily recommend this hotel for its perfect location, breakfast was ample for us, well priced and super helpful staff (a big shout out to Lorenzo). yes, it can get a little noisy on friday/saturday nights due to the 2 bars right downstairs but this did not bother us as we were down there having a drink as well anyway. perfect hotel in a wonderful city.

Too Much NOISE. Rooms overlooking the street had to deal with 2 bars and one restaurant with 30 yards of the front door. Both bars serviced outdoor cafe's serving at least 120 people. You must request a room not overlooking the front or you will get no sleep. Staff was great.

Lovely 14-room boutique hotel next to the university and two minutes away from the main town squares. A student bar and a cafe on one side, a restaurant on the other.
Nice and varied cold breakfast buffet.
Rick Steves' Italy 2019 Guide recommendation is right!

We were given a small room at the front of the hotel but the manageress changed us to a bigger, quieter room when we requested one the next day and we were happy there for the rest of our 4 night stay. The breakfast is good except that they use prepacked and processed cheese and ham instead of one of the many excellent local fresh varieties. The hotel is one of the most convenient in Padua for a tourist seeking to get to know the historic centre. It is adjacent to one of the University buildings and next to a cafe much favoured by the students. Unfortunately it has late night music and the bass on the music system makes it particularly hard to get to sleep. While this is not a criticism of the Hotel, potential clients should be aware of this local nuisance. The staff were all very helpful and most spoke excellent English. The Hotel represents good value for money.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and had an excellent experience. The room was very comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location -- on a quiet piazza just steps from the larger squares in the Centro Storico -- was perfect. We would definitely stay here again.

This was my second stay here - because I found the first time so great. Rooms are no-frills, but absolutely adequate. The entire hotel is very clean, and rooms serve their purpose well. (They dont all seem identical. So, whereas this room was not especially roomy, my last one was). Desk & breakfast staff, as well as house-keeping staff, are supremely friendly, and helpful. I happen to love the street view - but, it overlooks the entry to a small piazza where the University students hang out at night. The sound doesnt bother me (and I know that its there). If social noise up until midnight or so will bother you, you might make a request to be on the other side of the hotel. Breakfast, which is included, is very good, its fresh, and has a wide variety of items to answer every breakfast desire. The location is terrific - we found that we can walk anywhere comfortably for sightseeing from this hotel.

Was a little hard to find initially being tucked down a small back street under arches. But once figured out it's very close to town centre piazza del Erbe, Capella scrovegni. Room was clean and comfortable with a small but nice breakfast room with buffet. Reception staff were not that helpful, making me wait about 20 mins whilst they gave a lot of directions to an Italian school party. But overall a good comfortable basic option. About 25 mins walk to the station so may want to take a taxi.

Really enjoyed the location, atmospheric and being in close proximity to local bars and restaurants.
Comfortable walk to the Scrovigni Chapel and to shops and a supermarket.
Only issue was my wife getting bitten by a mosquito whilst sleeping with the window open. The staff were aware that mosquitoes are about and we should have been advised to sleep with the window closed. Anti-mosquito devices were provided after the event.

The location of this hotel was very convenient to the sites in the historical center. The hotel is very compact. There is no real lobby, the breakfast room is small, and the room was rather spartan, but very clean. The breakfast was very adequate with fresh fruit, cereal, pastries, hardboiled eggs, and bread with meats and cheese. The breakfast room had snacks, cookies and drinks available 24/7. The staff was helpful in making dinner reservations and the like. That said, we thought it was not up to our other three star hotels. We also had a frightening experience. Access to our room was through an outdoor enclosure used by smokers that was adjacent to the breakfast area. One evening when we left our room to go out to dinner we found ourselves locked in the outdoor area with no way to exit the hotel. In somewhat of a panic (we were glad the hotel was not on fire) and after five minutes of yelling for help and banging on the sliding glass door a woman staying in an upper room came to our rescue and opened the door for us. She was soon followed by the desk clerk from downstairs who was full of apologies. Upon our return from dinner we found a bottle of wine in our room.
The room lacked some amenities. There was only a mirror and waste basket in the bathroom. No ice was available at the hotel.
The hotel got us a quote of 85 euros for a taxi to the Venice airport, but when we got to the airport the driver pointed to the 85 euros on the meter but said we also had to pay for th

We had a great 2 night stay in Padua. The Reception staff were wonderful - they were helpful and friendly, and at our request, even booked a restaurant for us for our first night. They also gave us directions on how to get to various places. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable and we had no trouble with noise. One thing that could be improved is the breakfast where the few savory items e.g. cheese and ham were processed and somewhat bland. However on the plus side, it stopped us over-eating! The location of the hotel was excellent - close to everything we wanted to see. We would definitely recommend it, and would happily stay there again if we were to return to Padua.

Small, clean rooms with good hotel staff; however, the air control in the room did not work and the wifi system is terrible. Only one device can connect at a time and the connection is weak. Could not stream any video. If you close your device, you lose the connection and must start over.

The hotel was really comfortable, and the air conditioning excellent for this very hot stay (temp 38c) The breakfast was plentiful and the service and helpfulness of the staff much appreciated. The hotel is perfectly placed in the old part of Padua, everything is accessible by foot. Next door is a lively bar, but it was quiet by 11pm. We caught a taxi to the hotel from the station and paid 7Euros. However in cooler temperatures, would be a comfortable walk. We will definitely be staying at this hotel again.

This is a very good, inexpensive place to stay in Padova. Of particular note are the staff who were all incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are also very clean and probably the best I have come across for a 3-star in Italy. I got good advice about places to eat which werent Americanized versions of Italian food but real authentic native cooking. Location is good too as they are 3 blocks from the very center but it is still quiet. Breakfast was basic but good quality. Also, they do have a long-term apartment through another org (contact them directly). Only one downside was the internet which requires you to log-in every 10 mins or so which is frustrating, but they say theyre trying to fix this.

Located in the old town the hotel was ideal for a short stay.
The rooms are small but spotless. The breakfast included fresh fruit, meats, cheese and superb coffee.
The staff were helpful friendly and were genuinely welcoming.
I'd definitely recommend this as a base.

Definitely worth considering. Hotel was conveniently located. Room, although small, was well furnished and functional. Had a street-facing room, and it was not very well sound isolated, even with the windows closed. Bar next door could be heard well into the early morning. Good breakfast. No parking at the hotel, but paid lot is reasonably convenient to the hotel. Christmas markets in full swing nearby. Hotel quite reasonably priced.

We arrived at the hotel and were greeted by a young man who spoke good English. He carried our case up the stairs to our bedroom which unfortunately was on the street. We asked him for a room at the back and he found us one which was really super: large, quiet, on the first floor. He changed the safe for us, as the one in the room did not work, and gave us a map of the historic centre of Padua.
