The hotel has 3 buildings. Ours was the farthest from the lobby, a 5 minute walk. Even in the rain it was beautiful and pleasant. All of the rooms in our building have a lake view, and it is stunning!! One problem is there was only one chair by the little coffee table and there were 2 of us.

Everything was perfect, especially the view from the balcony, which made for an incredible experience. The hotel's restaurant was also excellent, the breakfast included many options, and the menu and service in the dining area were outstanding. P.S.: I loved the Nespresso machine in the room.

The food from the restaurant is delicious, the service is also fast and profetional, sauna is good too. The pillows very bad though The front desk is very helpful

We were at Heritage Hotel for 2 nts & 3 days of pure bliss. Our room 1208 on 3rd floor had a perfect view of the lake & the mountains. Early morning sitting in the balcony & watching the piece & quiet of the natural surroundings was pure theraputic. One day it was raining early morning and the feeling of watching the clouds fly low above the lake was amazing. The room is spacious and has a feel of being a heritage property. The breakfast was good spread. Being vegetarian we could still find some options. We didnt try dinner as the menu was limited for vegeterians however if u wish to have dinner plz reserve early as it does get busy. Checkin staff was very helpful and always greeted us with a smile. Same goes for restaurant staff who were very helpful. Overall a great stay and great memories. Thank you Heritage Hotel.

Take care that Hallstatt do not allow to use car. A shuttle is available in Parking P1. Service and hotel are perfect (just near ship boarding and the two churches of Hallstatt!)

This hotel is just okay. I wish I read more reviews and honestly stayed somewhere else. What is deceiving is there are actually three locations within Hallstatt. The location we stayed in was 0.5 miles from the main building and had no reception. So we were lugging our bags all over. Half the people at reception clearly didn’t understand either our questions or what the answer should be. I feel like they just said yes to everything without confidence. The day of leaving we had asked to book the hotel shuttle to take us a mile to a parking lot. And of course that didn’t happen so we had to walk with our bags the whole way.

Hotel room was in another building 5 minutes away from main building, which was fine because of the view of the lake. Breakfast buffet was amazing. Had the Schnitzel for dinner at their restaurant. FYI: most places in Hallstatt only take cash.

Staff were rude apart from the Croatian one

Because the hotel abuts the ferry dock, you can enjoy the excited holiday-makers coming and going — right from your hotel balcony. We also loved seeing the panorama of an oncoming storm approaching across the lake.

Great overnight. A bit worn. Restaurant was great — surpassed expectations given how touristy the town is.

One of a life experience

Clean hotel, i was lucky enough to have a balcony view over the lake, a great experience. Brilliant location. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was average. Aircon not provided in the room i was in, but there was an electric fan which helped.

EXCELLENT location, accommodation, service and breakfast buffet! Hotel right in front of ferry boat and smack in the middle of the town activities. There is no a/c though but room is very confortable!

No air conditioning

The rooms did not have A/C. This was horrible for a place you’re paying a significant premium fir.

Very friendly staff

The property is fantastically located just next to the boat jetty. Check-in was smooth and room was good - though i prefer high floor but level 2 was fine. 1 min away from market place and centralised in everywhere u would want to go to. Show host was designed in a awkward manner and bath time result in wet toilet. Best part - Fan was provided and that certainly helps in the HOT summer stay. In total - great place to stay though expensive.

This is an excellent property and a fantastic place to stay in Hallstatt.

Marvellous lake view. We stayed in the top floor commanding a whole view of the lake. We have 2 adults with a child. Hotel reservation was for two persons buffet breakfast. It is Expedia problem. Not specified a buffet breakfast included for the kid too. Hotel said ok for the child. Thanks.

The hotel has beautiful views. However it doesn’t have air conditioning. Which is inconvenient on hot summer nights.

The hotel is probably one of the better ones in Hallstatt but the rooms look like they have not been renovated since the early 2000s. Visible damage to the floors and bathroom sink. Shower did not work properly and no air conditioning (I know it is not common but other hotels do have it). The balcony and view from the room was breathtaking but the noise from the area below can be very loud at times. Staff was great and the restaurant (though pricey) had very good food. Overall I would say the hotel needs room renovations but is good otherwise.

Very modern motel room in the historical district. Excellent service

Everything about our stay was positive from start to finish. The Heritage was right at the ferry stop, which I thought would be a negative, but it turned out to be a positive! The hotel staff went above and beyond. Ivan, in the restaurant, was excellent. Rudolph, in the restaurant, was fabulous as well. The twins added a great element of surprise and were very kind! The beds were cozy, the location could not be beat, it was a very clean hotel, the only drawback for me was that it did not offer air conditioning. However, each room had its own fan which really helped to cool the place down. I would highly recommend the Heritage hotel in Hallstatt.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 evenings. Conveniently located right at the foot of the ferry dock. Lovely hotel.

Great location, great breakfast buffet and clean. The hotel provides slippers, shampoo, etc. Great location with good views. We stayed here for two nights. Definitely worth our money!! Did not regret paying a little more for such good views every morning!!

Amazing views!

Everything is good. Great view and peaceful environment. The only thing that needs improvement on is the bathroom. There is no hanging bars or hooks for towels and clothes.
