Beautiful location and fantastic hosts. I enjoyed my overnight stay in the Mediterranean Room - the rain shower was amazing but would love to try the bath next time! Bed is comfy and there’s a balcony too. Waking up to the sounds of birds was nice and you have the best view as you enjoy breakfast. Would definitely return.

The owners were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was perfect. It was however quite a walk to find some tea. The house and views were wonderful though the room we were in was a little but a little dated

My partner and I stayed at Avocado Sunset for his birthday and would highly recommend this place! We stayed in the Safari room which was lovely! Very comfortable and clean and an absolutely amazing view from the balcony! Jilly and Mel were perfect hosts, made us feel so welcome and cooked a great breakfast in the morning. I would highly recommend booking and staying here! Great location :)

Room very spacious and super comfy bed. Fabulous breakfast (great variety to suit all tastes).
Plenty to do nearby, with wineries and bush walks. Lots lovely shops and food places about 1km away in the village.

What a beautiful property and such a lovely couple that own and run it. And the breakfast, all I can say is yummmm, delicious! They provide plenty of recommendations on the area. The property has an amazing view over the mountain.

The picture on Expedia does not show the beauty of this place. We sat on the deck which had a fantastic view because we were high up on Tambourine Mountain and listened to all the different birds. Jinny and Mel are very friendly and the inside of the house is beautifully decorated. It was such a wonderful place to stay

Unfortunately the room was quite dusty (bedside tables, furniture) with cobwebs on lamps etc. At breakfast, I found my serviette had previously been used and was soiled.
Maybe give guests the option of a breakfast time? We came away to have some time to stop and relax - then needed to be up early for breakfast. Also an option to not all sit together at breakfast. Again, this can be quite stressful for those people who prefer their own company.

I was welcomed very warmly by Leo the cat as I got out of the car , and then by jilly the owner who was lovely and made me super comfortable. Daintree room was clean and tidy with a mad view! Bathroom clean and huge , bed comfy and amenities awesome . Will be back 😀

Our overall experience was wonderful. Our hosts were really lovely people and a great breakfast. Only 2 things could be improved. One is that when you stay more than a night there could be fresh towels. The only other negative is that it is a steep entry but this is unavoidable due to the slope. However, to compensate this the view is worth it. Great property and have stayed a few times and will again.
