The room had a really good shower, comfortable bed. Staff were very friendly, house keeping everyday. Only things i can fault are, the room we were in was right by the road and all you could hear was the traffic 24/7 because its a main road & when we arrived at 530pm all windows were still open, room was really cold.

Pros. Cheap. Central location. Comfy bed. Clean enough. Last minute booking for an overnight stay. We were delayed on the road & called ahead. They waited 90mins past the final check in time for us, very kind.

It was very last minute so I was really happy with the accommodation. I felt it did smell a bit damp and the bathroom light wasn't working. I also found a hoodie hanging on the back of the bathroom door.

Staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean. The shower unit could have been bigger, but that’s me personally, the only bad item was the heater was loose and coming away from the wall

The room was spacious and clean, but in very poor condition. Rotten shower surround, moldy ceiling, curtains coming off tracks. Poor sound insulation between rooms, footsteps and snoring!
We will not return.

we were very happy with our stay here. It was quiet, clean and comfortable with easy parking for our daughter who would pick us up each morning and drop us back at night. We did mention to the receptionist that the shower was too hot. To get it to a reasonable temperature the force of the water had to be excessive. But we are looking forward to returning on our next visit to Chch.

So many issues with this place, definitely would not recommend.
First of all the electricals fried my partner's phone as soon as he plugged it in to the wall.
As soon as we arrived we were greeted by an extremely rude man at reception, so rude I wanted to walk out and find somewhere else to stay, unfortunately after travelling all day the rest of the family just wanted to rest.
Disgusting boogers on the wall next to the bed and cobwebs everywhere.
No sound proofing between floors so had to listen to stomping above our heads all night.
Overall I won't be staying here again and would suggest to anyone considering this place to find somewhere else.

Property was satisfactory for our requirements. Some areas of the facility needed an upgrade. In total unit was clean and in a very convenient location close to the centre of the city.

Unfortunately Christchurch is a noisy city, especially at night.

Very comfortable room with lots of space upstairs and down. Awesome shower with incredible pressure!! Some wear and tear with room amenities. Found Bealey Avenue incredibly noisy at night. Parking was a bit tight and tricky to negotiate.

the Motel was very convenient to the bus and the CBD, suited us fine as we didn't have transport. WE found the lady at reception to be very plesant and helpful.

Great situation we could walk everywhere!! Comfy bed with nice clean bedding. Friendly housekeeping staff.
Furnishings very rough with holes and no springs in sofa. I would not even put furniture like it in my dunedin student flats!
There were no fans in bathroom or kitchen with mould on ceiling. Unit did not meet healthy homes specs. The owner asked me to discuss any issues with her which i did but she was defensive and made up excuses.

We really enjoyed our short stay. The Receptionist was lovely and helpful. The premises was clean, tidy and homely. It could do with an update though however that did not take away from the hospitality or comfort.
