The pictures and the real room were incredibly different. One of the lights at the head of the bed wasnt working and the other one looked like the cables were tampered with. Cramped bathroom means you need some maneuvering to get to the shower (which then felt surprisingly spacious).

This hotel is really lovely with excellent and friendly service, clean/modern room and a decent breakfast. We arrived at 5am from the train station And they let us into the dining area to sit until we could check in. We were upgraded to the premium room upon check in and were able to get into the room at 10.45am which was great as we were exhausted. The room is very nice with a lovely little vertical garden outside the window. The area is also good as its not far from everything

Please take note if booking pickup through the hotel that your driver might not be waiting at the airport and they will charge you regardless if the driver is there or not. It is best to take a Taxi. Please be aware that some of the taxi drivers are real scammers and pretend that they dont know that adress. Make sure you have the hotel telephone number and adress clearly written out and make the taxi driver call if he is confused.Nice Hotel but note there are 3 Church Hotels in Hanoi. Make sure to pick the ones closest to the Lake.95 Hang Gai and 9 Nha Tho street were well located with sidewalks out front.No. 21 Hang Ca street was in an offbeat location and no sidewalks that were free to walk on because of motorcycles and shops selling thier wares and eating.The room I had did not have window and felt quite confined and dark.,.hopefully you have a flashlight if you misplace something. It was a nice room but the airconditioner turned off in the night and it was very hot.I recommend the Hotel but be close to the lake and a room with a window.
