The property was stunning, clean & gorgeous. The staff was great. Special shout out to Otilia for all her help getting my sister situated in my room. She's a lifesaver! Joanna: Great efforts on all your activities. I wish I had more time to participate but I was with the GSD Soccer group attending their functions. Nuno in the bar was fabulous too. The meal options were great as my husband LOVES fish & beer. He was very happy. Only dislike that is consistent with other comments: Towels for the pool area. I'm glad I read that and packed accordingly.

My daughter (7 years old) loved this hotel. She especially loved the lounge, the pick and mix, the slushies, breakfast, music and the pool.

This property was beautiful and the service staff made it an unforgettable great vacation experience.

The resort had nice amenities. The food was the same basically every day, which is fine but if you desire a wide variety, you will not get that. The resort was very busy due to the festival going on, so my room was not properly cleaned daily. Towels weren't hung up, bed wasn't changed during my 5 nights I was there and the trash was ignored. I understand they get busy, but the staff should account for the fest and etc going on in the area. The spa was nice but you can't do any services as a couple. That's a bummer and can take up a lot of your time. If you need a taxi anywhere, schedule it immediately. Do not wait. Book your airport return service when you check in. The closet you get to your departure date, the more expensive it got. It shouldn't be that way, but that's what happened. There is an in house service that is a flat rate which good, but again book early! Use Uber and FreeNow as well. The room is a good size. The mattress is terrible. Period. There's a small kitchen which makes it nice if you want to make your own snacks and etc. Get to the pool early and claim your place. There's a bar outside too and entertainment. It can get loud and annoying so sit far away if that's not your thing.

Stay was great. Hotel location is perfect and the facilities and activities were very good. Food was good and the swimming pool awesome. Only thing we could have done with a kettle and a toaster in the room.

I had a wonderful experience at the Alvor Baia Resort Hotel. The room was clean, very comfortable and the staff was amazing and very polite. They certainly went over and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting 🇵🇹. MaryG

Lovely relaxing stay. Hotel was modern and clean with large, spacious rooms. Swimming pool was huge with ample sunbeds. We stayed on a B&B basis and breakfast had everything you could ask for. I would most definitely return to this hotel.

Hotel was very clean all around. Staff was friendly and were amazing at breakfast. It’s a large breakfast room with many visitors but staff served everyone with a smile and were helpful. Breakfast was also of a very good quality and a lots of variety. They were also very efficient in getting everything organized and cleaned!

The room was clean, although the beds were a bit hard and uncomfortable. Wifi worked well and room was equipped with a small stove and microwave. Breakfast was a bit underwhelming with a lack of fresh fruit, mostly canned fruit.

Nice hotel 7 minutes by car to the sea, walkingis around 25 minutes

The staff were helpful. Restaurants were good. There was a lot of food choices. Bars were always well stocked. The room was basic but clean, beds were hard. Shower was really good. The only thing this hotel lacked was adult entertainment. If you are looking for a peaceful holiday this is the place. Pool and grounds are fantastic. It’s about 15/20 minute walk into the village which was really nice.

Lovely hotel - staff very good and helpful. No iron in room or at reception was only complaint - you could only use their laundry service which seemed excessive for getting creases out of clothes from being in suitcase

After a long drive from the UK it was a nice relaxing experience.
