We loved our 25th anniversary stay at the hotel. Thanks to Krishna, Deepak, Amed, and all staff, we had the best time here!

Quality of the room was great!!! Pool area also was quite nice . A minus for Wi-Fi connection which was bad . Overall a pleasant stay!!!

Absolut fabulous stay! Friendly staff good food clean rooms. Spa treatments especially the facials are heavenly!

Superior Room - 8/10. Decent size. Clean. Thinnish walls. Did hear our neighbours quite regularly.Bathroom - 8/10. Clean. Separate toilet which was a bit cosy.Bed - 8/10. All ok. Comfy but pillows were a bit soft.WiFi - 9/10. No issues. Often reached down to the beach.Gym - 9/10. Equipment a little dated but decent hygiene set up under Covid conditions.Evening Entertainment - 9/10. Very good nearly every night. Full marks to the exceptional covers singers and house band and to the close-up, table magician.Staff - 10/10. ALL staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. ALL staff always strictly adhered to their own Covid rules. Masks were worn, hands were cleansed etc.Hotel - 9/10. Lovely view of the bay and the grounds were immaculately looked after.Buffet - 7/10. A slight disappointment. Breakfast was the same everyday. Lunches and dinners were very similar. Couldn’t help but feel there should have been a bit more variety. After-dinner cheese option only came out once, consisting of two types of cheese. This was heavily marshalled by the only cheese police I’ve ever encountered. Desserts were decent quality and we never went hungry.Other points to make… Dress code was long trousers for the evenings. I don’t do formal, so checked before hand that smart jeans were ok - which they were. The first night came and people were wearing pretty much what they wanted. And the only other niggle was that mask-wearing was never enforced. Would definitely recommend.

Great setting with wonderful staff who are super friendly and helpful. My room was comfortable and the food was excellent. I really enjoyed my stay and would fully recommend Mauricia Beachcomber hotel.

Hotel was very good, but we arrived just before the Corona 19 lockdown. We had to leave 4 days early because of flights being cancelled. When we asked for a refund or credit for a future visit, they referred us to Hotels.com with whom we have been unable to make contact. Also wrote to Beachcomber but nobody is responding!!!

Le Maurica is an excellent hotel, I travelled with my husband and enjoy the different dinner themes each night as well as the entertainment

A lot of ants. Old system toilet. But distribution between shower room and toilet is good. But there was no air circulating at toilet. No toothpaste. No toothbrush. No convenience store.(so i had to buy toothpaste at the super u by walk) Everyday similar food. Just general taste. But pool is good. Coffee is good. Airconditional is good. And

We were 2 families staying at the hotel for 2 weeks with all inclusive. The great surroundings, free watersport and the serviceminded staff made it a pleasure to stat at the hotel. The waiter Backus was very nice to us. Thank you.

Good view of the very pretty Grand Bay . Nicely set in coconut groves with plenty of sun beds

What we liked with the hotel was that is was close to the city center of Grand Bay. Food, service, room average for a Hotel of this price and standard.

Overall a great hotel and would stay here again. The property is beautiful, the food was delicious and the included water activities are a nice touch. That being said, there were some issues that reminded you that you were not at a 5 star hotel. For instance, the staff, especially at reception were unhelpful and unfriendly. We tried to get directions to an excursion that was a 5 min walk way, and no one was willing to help us! I also asked for an iron one day, and they told me I'd have to go down to the basement and use the iron and ironing board down there. Very strange!

It was an absolutely amazing trip. Resort was stunning. Facilities and location was exactly what we were looking for. Friendly and very helpful staff. Will definitely recommend this resort.

Great hotel within walking distance of the town. The desserts during dinner were superb - probably the best we have ever experienced!
