Clean and nice hotel

Excellent property in great location. Accessible to multiple shops, restaurants, and sights. Morning breakfast is also great. Highly recommended and would book again!!

We liked everything about the hotel, location, room size, cleanliness, helpful staff. One recommendation: We felt the lighting in the room and floor hallways was little dim. In the room we needed a choice of more brighter lights.

This remains a great hotel - well positioned and for those who enjoy industrial views, it is amazingly situated for the old port .. a bit like Bristol. People are always wary of hotel restaurants, but the bar and restaurant are serviced by an amazing crew and the quality of the food as always in Holland is exemplary .. thanks to the hard work of the often overlooked farmers!

We had sauna and hot tub in our room. Washlet our suite, most excellent. Pool and dry sauna, with a gym.

The metro station is outside the hotel, which is very convenient if you are taking public transport and have heavy luggage. You can access the hotel as soon as you step out of the escalator. The hotel is clean, and the staff were ok. The pool was closed on the morning of 31st May 2024 around 0932, but there was no notice in the pool area. I tried to ring the receptionist, but the line was busy. I went back three times, hoping I could find a staff to talk to, but unfortunately, every time I went back to the pool area, no one was there. I informed the receptionist when I checked out, and she informed me that it was closed due to a high level of chlorine and that it was for our safety. The pool should be checked before 6 am and ready for the guest to use as it is open from 0600 to 2300 daily to avoid disappointment.

Clean, nice hotel with amazing staff!

The pic on Expedia showed a round hot tub in the main part of the room. It was a bait and switch!! A rectangular tub is in the bathroom. The person at the check in desk said this happens a lot. Expedia is showing the wrong room for the price. The TV doesn't work either. They replaced the remote contol and it did not fix anything. Staff is very slow to respond to anything. Not much food offered for room service either. The duvet was waaay to heavy/hot for this time of year. No light bed covering options available in the room. Very disappointed.

The hotel requested deposit from your credit card above the room daily rate as kind of guarantee and it looks that it takes time to process the refund Which is unusual ?

We only stayed one night as we were boarding a cruise ship the next morning. The hotel was clean and the room we had was well appointed with a sauna, TV in bathroom, etc. However, the air conditioning was inadequate and despite manipulation with the room control the room would not get reasonably cool. We did not sleep well in the room that night. I would not stay there again.

Staff are very friendly and rooms are well appointed. Corners are cut with the amenities and there are not many restaurant choices within walking distance , apart from a very good Japanese about 100 metres away.For a short business trip it ticks all the boxes.

Great hotel centrally located and the staff are very helpful!

Beautiful hotel conveniently located right next to metro and trams. There is also a very good breakfast buffet. Make sure to say hello in the breakfast area to Giuseppe who’ll give you excellent restaurant advice. Our only complaint was that the television service was limited to a few Dutch channels.

Very nice indoor and pool which was appreciated after long walking days.

Fantastic hotel, outstanding service, fabulous view, sauna view-front room was the perfect choice, sauna works amazing. Definitely coming back.

Loved the stay and staff was great but the cleanliness of the room was lacking. I don’t believe the sheets were changed out before we had arrived, we kept finding blond hairs all over the bathroom and in the bed and neither of us are blond so we knew it was not us. And the cups on the minibar had obviously been used and not changed out either as they were stained with coffee. It was only for one night so we endured. We did let management know of our concerns on the way out hopefully this improves.

Nice views and spacious, but a bit tired, both rooms and common areas could use tlc. We booked a room with a sauna. Bathroom was good size and sauna almost fits 2 people at a time, very cozy sized. Did not use common amenities since had sauna in the room. Location was ok, walkable to restaurants.

Amazing rooms and amazing sauna and spa, but the hotel employees are very rude and arrogant and they bully you with passive aggressive tactics just to annoy you as much as possible if you try kindly ask for help with any problems on the rooms. The only reason I keep checking in is the incredible sauna rooms. I wish the hotel would hire more socially intelligent and respectful staff.

lovely clean spacious room with an amazing jacuzzi bath tub. made use of the spa facilites and then headed back up for a luxurious bubble bath for 2. heavenly!! Bed was comfortable and the buffet breakfast was great as they cook your eggs fresh - anyway you like them!! Pancakes are also heated up fresh! would definely stay here again

As a solo female traveler, the Mainport has set a new personal standard for hotel accommodation and self-care. I loved everything about my experience in Rotterdam and the Mainport was certainly a highlight.
