The service provided was Not exactly as described, Breakfast was good but there was No shuttle service from airport when I arrived at 4 pm. Room was clean and tidy, sufficient hot and cold water. TV was Not working overall good.

Staff didn’t have the room key at the counter, I had to wait outside the room until another staff brought key to open the door. There was no hot water, only one power plug which would not for to international chargers. Staff at the counter didn’t know if I had already paid during my booking and provided me a bill to pay

This hotel does a great job and making sure you are happy being here. From breakfast to getting the tv cable channels that are available in English. Nothing is too much trouble. I’ll be back while I’m in Nepal.

From the moment I entered the front door I knew I was welcome. I had traveled all night to get to Kathmandu and needed coffee and 5 minutes to gather myself. The kind gentleman bought me coffee and said when I was ready that so was my room. I checked in and the rest of the stay was as great as my check in. Thank you Hotel Buddha.

This was my 2nd stay in Hotel Buddha. I love this hotel with amazing staffs and offcourse I love the breakfasts they serve in the morning.

My partner and I stayed her in January 2020 for a bit over a week. Overall the property wasnt bad but the rooms are tired. I noticed the windows arent sealed so noise and the weather can easily seep through. This wasnt great as there is construction work on both sides of the hotel (but I can hardly blame them for that). The breakfast was exceptional and the staff were brilliant, so I woupd probably go back.

Covered garden seating area on ground floor. Air conditioning in rooms. WiFi and cable tv. Rooftop views accessible. Small balcony. Friendly helpful staff, many smiles. No elevator

Smiley and very kind staff always ready to help, charming atmosphere, great location. Abundant breakfast, delicious full omelette and really good food in the restaurant. We will definetely go back to The Buddha in our next time in lovely Kathmandu <3 Namaste!

Good wellcoming, first check in-check out, over all standard hotel in Kathmandu and budget Friendly.

I stayed at Hotel Buddha for 2 weeks whilst visiting my wife in Nepal who was on a medical placement. I was collected from the airport as arranged and arrived late evening. From the start I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the room and the hotel overall. All the staff from reception staff to waiters and security staff have been so welcoming and friendly. The rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels and linen provided as well as 2 litres of water meaning I never had to buy water the whole time I was in the city. My stay included breakfast of which there was ample choice each morning, cooked breakfast as well as toast, fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt as well as tea/coffee and juice. Also a chef who cooked omelettes to order which were delicious. Obviously despite switching some foods, after a few days it does become somewhat repetitive. Food on the lunch/dinner menu was fantastic, and reasonably priced. I had food delivered to my room twice with no extra charge. The room was very comfortable, with tea/coffee making facilities, TV, air conditioning doubling as a heater which was used! The bathroom was also spacious with a decent shower and always had hot water. The sockets in my room were the same as the UK so no need for an adaptor. The hotel were also very accommodating allowing my wife to stay with me for a small charge but after a few nights this was wavered. Hotel Buddha also has a stunning garden where all meals are served.

The Jotel Boddha was a home away from home for us, with excellent service and a great location. They also held our luggage while we went exploring for several days. Their only drawback is the room size, very small.

Great place, this is a find! Will stay here again when we come back from Pokhara.

Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! Absolutely cozy and affordable place for all sorts of travelers. Very hygienic, super friendly staff and located in middle of 'touristy area of Kathmandu-thamel'. Tour manager Mr. Pramod helped us with out trip across Nepal from Kathmandu-Chitwan-lumbini-pokhara at very affordable rate(recommended). Mr. Anil drove us through Nepal and made out trip very comfortable. All is all an amazing experience. Definitely coming back!

Need improve on break fast item...common item on every morning..no tea maker in room..room also not too much space and noise.overall location is good and stuff are always smiling face.
