The staff is so friendly and personable for anything we could possibly need. Room 108 was perfect!! The room and the ambiance was exactly what you want in a sleepy beach town getaway. Breakfast was a delight and the chef was a stand-up comic, story-teller, and fantastic cook. Even the dolphins cooperated--outside our window and visible thru the provided binoculars.

This property was amazing. We only spent one night in the honeymoon suite. We enjoyed the ambiance and scenery. Breakfast was fabulous. Wish we had more time. Hope to visit again. My kids loved it.

The Black Dolphin Inn is one of the best places I have ever stayed! From the moment I walked through the door I felt welcome, just like I was coming home. Jennifer was very kind and quickly checked me in. My room was quiet and very comfortable. While I was staying there was a problem with the circuit break for my room. Jennifer tried to fix it but needed an electrician. She moved me to another suite that was spacious, clean, quiet and very comfortable. Breakfast is delicious! The next time I visit the area I will be staying at The Black Dolphin Inn.

My wife and I spent our 24th anniversary there and they were so accommodating. The service was outstanding and everyone there was very helpful. The rooms were clean and they decorated our room for our anniversary. We definitely plan on staying there again the next time we are in New Smyrna Beach.

Very unique inn close to everything in NSB.

It was a really good close in staycation for us. Convenient to beaches and many great restaurants. When in New Smyrna if you’re tired of big box hotels then treat yourself and stay at The Black Dolphin Inn.

The Black Dolphin Inn was an unexpected treasure! From check-in to check-out, it was an absolutely fantastic experience. I’ve never been happier to give a review. What a unique place… you have to see it to believe it. The rooms were stunning and spacious. The decor throughout the inn was exquisite. The beds are luxurious and extremely comfortable. The homemade breakfast (there were 3 choices each morning) was incredible and filling! The staff is lovely. We stayed here during a wedding weekend and knew nothing about the town or area… we really lucked out when we found the Black Dolphin Inn!

Nice property, in a very pleasant neighborhood across from the water. Enjoyed 3 nights, 3 breakfasts, and a lot of time out and about in the area.

Nice, large room with 2 comfortable king beds. Good breakfast as well. Located across from the river in a very nice neighborhood. The garden area is a bit small and can use some TLC. Overall a nice stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a unique hotel option.

Great location, excellent staff, quiet and relaxing.

The Black Dolphin is stylish and comfortable, the staff are helpful and kind. There was even a dolphin cavorting in the river out front at dusk, and a pelican fishing next morning.

A plus experience

Our room was large and well equipped. The beds were very comfortable and staff were all friendly. The breakfasts were excellent and were different each of the 4 mornings of our stay. The main lobby and the porches and patios were all well maintained and easily accessible. We would definitely stay here again when in this area.

Delightful bed & breakfast… totally worth a stay!

For the price it was too noisy Walls are not insulated for sound I could hear the people next door talking and even snoring through the wall. Mattress is old and uncomfortable with definite depressions on both sides.

Me and my daughter came down for two nights for my nieces wedding. The property is super cute! Our room was absolutely adorable. Bed was super comfortable. Shower and spa tub was fantastic. I was pleasantly surprised that they offer to bring a complimentary breakfast to your room at the time of your choosing. The breakfast was so delicious! And there was a lot of food. Me and my daughter both saved the other half for the next morning- no need to be wasteful. Eggs, muffin, croissant, potatoes, fruit and OJ! The chef is amazing. The whole staff is so nice and accommodating. I definitely look forward to coming back. Too of my list of favs for sure!!!

I’m so glad we found The Black Dolphin Inn! We came to NSB for a wedding and stayed the weekend. The room was perfect, and my favorite part was getting breakfast delivered to our room every morning, and eating it on the balcony while watching the squirrels play in the huge live oak! Definitely recommend!

This is an amazing eclectic boutique hotel. I would stay here over a Hilton any day. It feels like home, the staff is so friendly and welcoming, and a Chef personally makes breakfast for the guest each morning. Do yourself a favor and visit this property on your next trip to this area.

What a wonderful stay at this beautiful property! The room was amazing and the staff was so great. The breakfast was superb. We would go back in a HEARTBEAT!

Nice staff, and it felt very comfortable.

My wife and I came here for a weekend away, it is a beautiful property and a great location. Our view was of the intercoastal water way from the balcony. It happened to be the night that the Christmas boat parade was going on, which made it even more beautiful for an evening on the balcony, and of course more expensive of a stay. It was very relaxing until Sunday morning when their landscaping maintenance crew showed up at 8am when our breakfast was brought to our room. This is advertised as a bed and breakfast with the highlight being having your breakfast delivered to your room and eating it on the balcony overlooking the water. Instead, as we started eating breakfast, the gardener started mowing the lawns throughout the property, but began in front where the rooms with balcony's were. In addition, they also used their blowers which kicks up dust, etc everywhere. Needless to say, what my wife and I thought was going to be a nice breakfast with a view turned into a quick retreat to the room. We ended up leaving our stay early just to get some peace and quiet elsewhere. It ruined the bed and breakfast feel. Breakfast is supposed to be the culmination of a wonderful weekend at a bed breakfast, but our stay didn't not end up that way. I don't understand why the landscaping would not be done after an 11am checkout, or at least after their last 9am delivery time for breakfast. I am surprised that out of all mornings to have the landscaping done, they choose the morning after the
