We arrived at Taj Inn after we booked a double room with them asking us to pay them an extra 800 rupees for two people in the room (even though I booked a double room) and it definitely wasn't an official payment because I was able to bargain for it and paid 500 rupees which I watch him out in his pocket. We booked a room with included breakfast but when we finished eatin we were forced to pay 600 rupees each which once again wasn't an offical payment because we bargained it to 200 rupees each. This whole hotel will try and scam you non stop. Bed sheets also dirty and stained

I was staying at hotel Taj inn with my family for one night. The check in was smooth and our luggage reached to our room no time.Awsome food .very helpful and Friendly staff .Great spacious rooms . The overall stay was amazing.would recommende this property to all kind of travellers.Will definately come back again!!

The Taj Mahal is visible from the dining area, but it will soon be obstructed since there is another complex that is being built between the two. We were disappointed with the hotel since the faucets in the bathroom were leaking and there was a problem with getting hot water for showers. The rooms were small and there was improper ventilation. The surrounding area outside the hotel was not well kept and unclean. There were flies in the breakfast area. The hotel staff offered us a cold drink when we arrived and they were attentive to our needs.

The room and linen was clean; however the bath area needed more cleanliness; the taps were slimy, the toiletries were cheap cheap quality, they used floor towels from The Trident!!! would not like to stay there again.

The smell from the bathroom makes it hard to sleep at night. Was given dirt stained towels everyday. Was given different prices by hotel staff for everything. Room is decent size and clean. Bed was comfortable . Was given expired water and soda at this hotel all the time . Please check the dates.

A very simple veg sandwich of Rs 40 cost you more then Rs 250 and many more.I ordered cake for my anniversary they charged me for a Germen baked cake but served a third class cream cake of a very low standard , we even dont take a bite from that.Rooms are good and clean but I dont like the spring bed it was not at all comfortable you can feel the springs and cant sleep on that.

Pictures of hotel online are very much different than the reality. Hotel is not as clean as it shows in pictures. Hotel staff was okay but over all management was careless about their guests comfort and convenience. This hotel is walking distance from Taj Mahal but the walk is terrible. Street vendors and Taxi drivers keeps on bugging while you walk on the street.

The best advantage of this property is its location - you will find a lot of things in walking distance, even the Taj Mahal is also very close by. Rooms are reasonably cheap and the hotel staffs were courteous enough; they tried their best to serve us to their fullest capacity in order to fulfill our needs. But there are few things that must to be improved - cleanliness of the rooms, and the bathrooms. The towels were dirty; bed covers and bed sheets were not properly clean. There was water leakage in the bathrooms which eventually soiled the entire floor.

it is a very quite and descent play to stay. variety of food with good service. if u go there u must visit the top most view for the restaurant. its almost a walking distance from tajmahal and many other monuments.

This hotel is good, but hotel stuff should need some improvement for previous, like front office man who was doing morning shift, he was rude and unsmiling person and he don't have hotel manners.

My room AC was leaking water all night and second day

Small room, tiny hotel building, poor service by staff, there is no view of the Taj mahal from here guys, photos are deceiving, staff knocked at our door at 10.30 pm whilst we were in bed so they could get my signatures for the bill for in room service, i thought that was shocking, they could have waited till the morning.

You can tell when this hotel was first built it was nice. However after a few years it has now deteriorated. The lobby looks nice and the hallway to the room looks promising. However the room smelt musty and damp when we first entered. It doesn't have any windows so there is no ventilation in the room. It smelt like it hadn't been used in a long time. One of the walls the paint was peeling off due to the damp. The smells coming up from the drains in the bathroom smelt of rotten egg, and having no ventilation either the smell stays around for a long time. The only redeeming feature is that the shower is nice and powerful and hot a contrast to other showers I have used in India. The room was not cleaned or checked daily and the porters/cleaners were still expecting a tip at the end of our 2 day stay. I would not advise going to stay here even though it is quite cheap.

about hotel it's good and exactly same as shown in pictures on expedia.we had a one night stay and it's a nice experience. hotel staff is cool.but there are problem of parking vehicles.also bathroom cleanliness do require some attention. they say we provide wi-fi about signal strength is weak. also buffet breakfast is not upto the mark.
