We enjoyed our stay at Club Tropical Resort, it is in a very nice area of Darwin with very close access to the ocean and nature reserves.
The pool area was relaxing with plenty of sunloungers and a large pool.
The staff were friendly and the meal at Sole restaurant was nice.
We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for 2 nights and it was really nice… Staff were friendly, helpful and courteous… Had dinner in the on site restaurant, not great… a bit more attention to detail regarding food presentation would greatly enhance the plates… eg… adding a little side salad to the burger and chips, having ketchup, mayonnaise etc… already on the table… However, we would have no hesitation in staying here again…

Club Tropical Resort is exceptionally clean (why I like to stay there), however, this stay I was in an upstairs room and the water pressure was very poor and made showering unpleasant.

A drunk person was laying on the common walkway and making loud noises. Police were called by the managers but never arrived! Clearly there was no on-site security support which one might expect for such a large resort. This was extremely unsettling for our kids

Our fault really, we thought it was a resort. Its set up as a great spot for workers with their own transport. Big clean rooms big fridges for their tucker, comfy beds, shared verandahs so you cant have your door or curtain open. No courtesy bus form anywhere, staff are nice but know nothing about Darwin, very little help in that regard. $40 Uber into town. no Breaky until 7.30am, so fat chance to have breaky and make it into town for a tour.

Really nice and comfortable resort.
The room was lacking some touches such as a lamp. The bathroom only runs by a sensor which was a bit odd.
Unfortunately the curtains aren’t block out and the lights on the outside were left on all night, making the room glow. I only sleep when it’s dark so this was the biggest disappointment.
Despite this I did enjoy the stay, the room is clean. It’s in a nice spot near Lee Point, but not many restaurants nearby.

Very quiet, spacious, well equipped rooms. Terrific location for bird watching, walking and watching beautiful sunsets at Lee Point. Lovely pool and grounds, would love to return.
