First room was disgusting. Blood on the sheets, spider webs with spiders and bugs all over the place, food in the fridge. The lady ag the desk was awesome, moved us to another room. Tried to bathe but had to get out due to how dirty it was.
Breakfast was good.

Tired hotel, good location and the front desk was friendly. Unfortunately the room needs some TLC, walls are like cardboard so I heard every grunt from the person next door. Cracked ceilings and dirt under the heater/ac unit had been there for quite some time. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean. Not sure I would return.

I just loved being able to walk outside and see ships docked and the lovely park across the street. The staff are all so friendly and the eggs at breakfast are delicious!

This was a very nice stay. The hotel is surrounded by a beautiful park and seaside walk. The Irish pub next door had excellent food. Room was clean and staff very friendly.

Unfortunately the management had no sympathy for our situation. We accidently booked 2 rooms. I don't know how that happened but it was legitimately a mistake. I explained this to the staff but they said there is nothing they could do as they were non-refundable bookings on Expedia. I did not take the room keys for the 2nd room and they could have easily given the room to the couple behind us who did not have a reservation, but instead they decided to keep my money. I had Expedia reach out to hotel management, but they continued to refuse a refund. So the hotel tried to blame it on Expedia and Expedia blames it on the hotel, I'm not sure who to believe. But either way obviously frustrated that the hotel kept my money for a room I did not use.

Purchased rooms for 3 nights for a client who was in town. Client checked in very late at night. Room was dirty and had bugs. They left for another hotel 2 hrs later. I requested only paying for the first night and wanted a refund for the last 2 nights and was declined.
I book alot of hotels in Sarnia and would of gave this hotel another chance if they would of considered the refund request.

Average hotel. Amenities match the price point. Limited hot food choices--same stuff every day. There is no elevator, so if you don't do stairs, request a room on the first floor.

The hotel was dated but the suite was spacious. Check in was quick - friendly, helpful. The area was not the greatest- the water view was nothing more than a retired ferry out our window. The suite itself was lacking kitchen items like forks and spoons but staff fixed that quickly. Bedroom nice and spacious but bed was horribly soft and saggy. Bathroom was small and shower could be cleaner. Tried sitting on seat in shower - nearly slid off onto shower floor, accident waiting to happen. Did not try breakfast because we thought it was open till 10. Overall, Sarnia was a huge dissappointment - welcoming everyone via massive industrial area and homeless tent cities. I'm afraid we will never visit Sarnia again.

There was NO ELEVATOR and you had to pay extra for a first floor room!! I would not expect that I'd have to check if there was an elevator!! My husband doesn't do stairs well due to an injury so we were very unhappy that accessibility isn't provided.

Normally we stayed at more upscale hotels in the area, but gave this hotel a chance. Room had a comfortable bed, bathroom was clean but, not a single picture on the wall and the paint job was shotty and a very dark blue almost black ( not so cheery). Buffet breakfast was free and good. Walking distance to several restaurants.As the title said its ok for a short stay!

Booked a room with a King Bed. Tried to get into room and it was occupied so we were given a Queen. We mentioned that we had booked a room with a King bed but there was no offer to switch it. That was disappointing.

We stayed here just one night on our roadtrip. The hotel has a convenient location for the boarder crossing, a pub across the carpark and shops couple minutes drive away. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size and had a nice bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Everyhting was really clean. Breakfast was good.
