Unprofessional staff at the reception

Everything I needed with nothing I didn’t, at a good price. Not familiar with Motel One before travelling, I was surprised at how modern and clean everything was. Would absolutely seek out Motel One again in Frankfurt and elsewhere if I just needed a simple, inexpensive place to stay.

Great hotel to stay if you are attending events at Messe Frankfurt. Good price, small but functional rooms. Need to include a safe in the room and some more coat hangers but over all very good and super convenient.

We stayed at this property overnight between flights. It is only 20-30 minutes from the airport so it was great. The hotel was clean, the rooms were nice, the staff were friendly and helpful. We didn’t eat at the hotel but right across the street there was a restaurant called Beef! It was excellent. Service was great and the beef cuts on the starter menu are a must. When we got up in the morning we took a short Uber ride to the area called New Old Town the buildings in this area are beautiful.

Enjoyed stay but no clock in room and was advertised to have A/C in room and our room did not. Great shower though! Breakfast was phenomenal.

Friendly reception staff, room was as with all motel ones. Bar staff was... stupid??? I don’t know how best to describe them, except they were woefully unprepared to handle the fairly simple requests of international guests and were rude about things they didn’t understand, making no effort to engage with the guests to find what what they needed.

Location is excellent. Close to public transport, and to a shopping mall. Friendly staff and clean and comfortable room. Will certainly repeat.

My stay started on the wrong footing with unfriendly staff at the check in who actually made me feel like an unwanted guest. My encounters with the staff at the counter though our my stay just confirmed to me that the staff at this hotel are not trained to be client oriented. To top it all internet access was intermittent!

Nice location. Lots of shopping and dining options. Staff was friendly. Room size was fine, but bathroom was small. I kept hitting the shower glass partition with my arm every time I used the sink. Comfortable bed. I liked the TV fireplace that would automatically come on. Hadn’t seen that before.

The rooms were very small. After check in I realised that. Wanted to cancel my reservation but I was refused. I stayed in nearby Movenpick for almost the same price with much much bigger rooms and lots of extra amenities .

Everything made sense - lighting, positioning of outlets, furniture. I was able to work and also sleep well.

All the staff are amazing..... from the reception to the bar to the Housekeeping staff. Hotel rooms are clean and functional. Would have appreciated a hot water jug or flask. Other than that, love everything! Kudos to the management for a well run property!

We booked this hotel as it was near to the shopping mall according to the review. As it said, the hotel is just directly opposite the mall. It was around 15 to 20 mins ride from the airport. Checked in was smooth, room is expected to be small. A typical business hotel, comfortable enough for a short stay. 1 minus point is there's no electric kettle and a decent cup, only paper cup is given.

There were multiple locations so be careful to book the right one. I made the mistake of booking in a more commercial area, but there was no problem changing the reservation and the receptionist was very accommodating to move us to the more desirable location.

I knew where hotel was so had no problem but navi systems do not recognize the address which mad it difficult for friends to come and get me.

The rooms were really small. We are fairly light travelers and used to small spaces, but this was quite small. Weve stayed in more spacious rooms in Japan, for goodness sake. The windows were also small and the views were not good (the industrial parts of other nearby hotels). There was also no phone in the room, so they expect you to use your cell phone to call the front desk, which is not so convenient if youre an international traveler and have to pay for minutes. I dont understand how such a sub-par hotel room in an out-of-the-way part of a not-so-glamorous city was this pricey; I know Frankfurt hosts a lot of big conventions, but we werent there during a convention time, so that wasnt it. I suppose its close enough to the central train station that you could walk (its about 15-20 minutes), but its in a new sort of industrial hotel area that is weird and not that nice, so I was just at a loss as to what we were paying for. It was clean and the staff was friendly, but overall, we were very underwhelmed.

Nice hotel close to the shopping centre and not far from u-Bahn station and variety of restaurants to choose from. The room is big and very clean but it better to provide subtitles for the tv channels

I stayed in Motel One as it appeared to be close to Festhalle where I was attending a concert, to my surprise I could see Festhalle from my room and it was but an 8 minute walk. Also right opposite was Skyline Plaza which is a shopping Mall, places to eat and shop even a Rewe Grocery store. The Hotel staff on arrival were welcoming, friendly and Helpful, the Hotel was very nice and clean. My room was quiet and spotless, I cannot fault the cleanliness at all. I also had the best 3 nights sleep, usually at any other Hotel I have stayed in there is always noise from other guests but I heard nothing, the room was cosy and warm and you could control the room temperature easily. The bed was comfortable and restful. If you are thinking of booking just do it I am sure you will be pleased. Breakfast was available at a reasonable price and is continental and very nice, wifi was good too and I had no trouble with it.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was super clean (and I have high standards!). The breakfast was spectacular with a good spread that was filled constantly, even close to the end of service. They also offered organic options, which I have never seen at other hotels. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a room in Frankfurt near shopping and in a quiet area.
