The Air conditioner is very loud

We were put in a noisy room by the elevator because we didn't indicate a preference. Moved down the hall. The front desk couldn't magnetize key cards. Had to go back down to get new key cards. Woke up 8 am to heavy pounding from construction across the street. Next night, woke up to a 3 am fire alarm. Took the stairs outside to find out it was a false alarm. Had to wait for incredibly slow elevators to get back to our rooms. Not necessarily the hotel's fault, but not the best weekend for rest.

Have stayed here multiple times and intend to be back. Had a small issue with check out. Their system showed that we had checked out and we hadn't. This caused housekeeping to start cleaning our room with our items still in there. Other than that, great stay.

Arrived early evening to find out there is construction directly across the street. With pile driving starting around 7:00 am…..the staff did a fantastic job finding us a room far away from it.
Location is great to walk around UW and capital area…..definitely would recommend

I hated Madison, I didn't find it kid friendly at all. Neither the Target or the Walgreens on the main road carry diapers. There wasn't a playground or splash pad close by and we stayed there to go to the farmers market only to find out that they were have an art festival instead which the kids weren't into (I have a one and three year old). I also thought the city was dirty - lots of litter and not very grid friendly so walking you have to be mindful where you're going. The hotel on the other hand was wonderful, spaces rooms, fantastic breakfast, clean nice space!

The staff was very professional and friendly. The breakfast area was kept clean, fully stocked and all the items were fresh. I had my elderly parents and the hotel staff were more than helpful making their stay enjoyable. This is my go-to hotel next time I’m visiting Madison, WI.

Parking ramp on site with direct access to rooms from the ramp was a bonus! It was very quiet when we were there— hardly knew anyone else was staying at the hotel. Walking distance to State Street and UW campus. Lots of construction around the hotel which was the only negative. Breakfast was great!

Super convenient location within easy walking distance of the bus station as well as shops, restaurants, and the downtown area. Room was super spacious and comfortable, and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast too. Would definitely stay there again!
