good big rooms ,good idea with the kitchens ,staff friendly and parking great ..but we did not find the bed gave much support at all.. mattress needs changing .if you are a light sleeper ask for a back room as the road in front is very busy and woke me up both mornings at 6.30ish.

Check-in/check-out effortless. Apartment just what we needed although sofa was a little bit too low for us (probably an age thing!). The extractor fan in the bathroom wasn’t working but I have yet to report that to them.

The room was a nice size and the facilities good. The check in was easy and welcoming. We had room to park and a short walk into town which had lots to offer. There was no breakfast option but plenty of cafes in town. The only downside was the bed was a little uncomfortable as it was a double but we are used to our king size at home.

I travelled here for business and was really impressed with the cleanliness of the room and the kitchens which are a great facility when working away from home.

Perfect place to stay in Retford. 10 minute stroll to the town centre, beautifully clean and a warm welcome on arrival.

Easy to get to. Plenty of parking. Kitchen facilities were excellent.

Visited the area for the evening. Guest House contacted me in advance to check arrival time and were prepared to accommodate for a late check in if necessary. All facilities in the room were satisfactory. Complimentary tea and coffee was a nice touch. I had a family room, generous in size and split into 2 rooms so twin beds in one and double bed with bathroom in the other. Gave us privacy except for if someone in the twin room needed the bathroom. No lock on the bathroom door which was a bit odd. I would stay here again.

Fabulous hostess, beautiful little English town and clean, comfortable accommodation.

We liked the informal set up. Also the use of the communal kitchen is very useful for Breakfast and casual eating. Staff very friendly and efficient.

This hotel is the best one I have stayed in, my mum, myself and my 6month old son stayed in a 2 bed apartment and it was so clean, tidy, and fresh! The staff are absolutely amazing they are so friendly and easy to approach if there is something wrong, or if you need anything! The handyman was outside our door on the day we left, and helped us down the stairs and into the other side with all our bags, and suitcases! He then went out of his way to get us teas, coffees, sugars etc! The cleaning staff were brilliant and absolutely fantastic at their job, all in all, all of the staff were amazing, and even interacted with my son who absolutely loved them all! I will definitely be booking in again, so worth the money and 5*! Thank you for such a lovely stay! 5*****

Even though it was just an overnight stay, the accommodation provided everything we needed. The manager couldn't assist us enough throughout our stay and a small issue that we did have was rectified quickly and without fuss, but this issue was down to the booking agent/site we used and not the guest house/staffs fault. Would highly recommend to anyone planning on staying in Retford, as within walking distance of town centre for all amenatives. I wouldn't describe this as a guest house, more self contained apartments.

One night stay on a business trip. More than adequate accommodation. 2 minute walk to the pub for food. It's not a B&B, but the room was very comfortable and it was quiet despite being on the main road. Would stay there again. Decent value for money.
