The stay was fine. The service was super nice and personable and the hotel was very clean despite finishing touches of renovations.
Probably my lone issues were the room comfort. The walls are relatively paper thin as you could hear the people next door being loud. There was also a slight pool smell though we weren't by the pool and it was November. They could have also added another pillow to the beds and/or get bigger pillows.
Again, it was fine for a weekend trip.

Price was right. They were working on painting the outside. The room was mostly renovated, but the ceiling needs to be worked on, the bathroom door was clawed by a previous pet, and the bed is very firm.

We were visiting New Orleans for the Taylor Swift concert. The hotel was very easily accessible from the interstate, great access to the city. The hotel itself was very clean and obviously well cared for. Would absolutely stay again.

Stayed for one night after the Taylor Swift concert. Front desk staff were super friendly and helpful. The hotel is just off the interstate, between a big trucking gas station and a Cane's Chicken fast food place. It was clean, well lit, and I felt completely safe with my two daughters there. The room was clean and nice. It is obviously an older place but they were powerwashing the building while I was there, so they obviously work to upkeep the place. The pool was nice and clean, but we did not swim. The only complaints I have is the bathroom door would not shut all the way, it would get hung up on the door frame, and the bed mattress was very hard and uncomfortable. The AC was super cold, which is very important to a hot-natured person like me. No bugs were seen at all. A great stay at a great price, and well worth the 30-minute drive from New Orleans in order to not pay $1000 for a hotel room on Taylor Swift weekend! Would definitely stay here again!

The air conditioner was so loud that it sounded like a freight train was in the room. In the morning we were greeted by cockroaches.

Would not take a family here. Needs upgraded extremely. I speak from a party that booked 3 rooms. All had it's issues. There is better closer to this hotel.

The host at the front desk tried to double charge me for the room. Instead of finding my reservation, he just booked the room. I gave him my reservation information but he didn't use it. Then the room was hard to cool and the a/c didn't want to cool properly. The room keys kept demagnetizing and I had to keep going to the office to get them redone. This is the first time I have ever had trouble in this hotel. I have stayed here many times before.

I know people have there stero types that its red roof but this has been by far one of the best hotel for that price i have ever stayed at it was clean room smelled good everything was good

It's what you'd expect for the price. It was clean and the gentleman who checked us in was great, super nice and accommodating. The AC didn't stay cool and made a weird ticking noise that got louder over time. My husband killed 2 roaches within the 12 hours we were there. The pool hours are weird, 10am-7pm.

This is the kind of motel you expect to see bugs in. The room was very badly dated. Couldn’t feel comfortable from fear of something crawling on you.

Property was being renovated. Vending machines not working. Room was dirty. We did see a few bugs. Ceilings cracking and missing pieces. Water pressure very weak. No hairdresser.

I really enjoyed my stay, the staff was nice and the receptionist was very helpful and sweet, the only thing I would say is our sheets had a lot of stains but other than that I would come here again

The hotel is good overall, has a pool and really close to a lot of restaurants but the room had so many flying bugs, I smushed at least 20 of them. Never had that many bugs in a hotel room and I had 3 sitting on me, gross.

I absolutely enjoyed checking in and my interaction with staff. However, the person in the room next to me had a ton of cats and the smell of cat urine was in my room.
Fine fir the rate they extended, I am cool with that. My wife asked me to check for bedbugs and I said okay how. She said to look for dark marks underneath the matress cover. I told her ther are what look like mildew spots all.over and she told me to get my stuff and run out of there.
Just the truth. I left ASAP and went spent more on another hotel in the area. I just want to share truth. The dude at the counter is awesome. But the folks on the room cleaning and monitoring clientele are failing to the point that I would recommend staying elsewhere. Guy working the desk, change jobs bro. You have hospitality in you. But that is not the facility.

everything is fine, the staff is friendly, there is a split system. it is comfortable, cozy and clean.

Great value for the money. Although dated, the room/bathroom were very clean. The
building exterior is scheduled for major renovations late this year. Staff are always very friendly. This was my third overnight stay and provided me a clean, comfortable room at a very reasonable rate.

Check in was quick and easy. Staff super friendly and accommodating. Property is being worked on yet guests are not inconvenienced at all. Very affordable. My room was wonderful, spacious, and clean. Located next door to the TA Travel Plaza which has a nice little restaurant inside. I’m happy to have found this little gem on my way to New Orleans for work. I’ll most definitely stop again if I’m in the area.
