Whenever I stay in Soldotna I always stay at Kenai River lodge. Beds are very comfy and room is large. Check in staff have always been nice and helpful.

Every room has view of the Kenai River.

The building is definitely older but it was clean. The lady at the front desk was amazingly sweet and very helpful. The bar was very nice and we liked the outdoor seating. We would stay again.

This place is right on the river and has an amazing view. Private fishing area for lodge renters.

Great veiws

We checked in very late and they stayed in touch with us and then gave a late che jour to help us out. So grateful for the ladies in the office.

There is no AC at this hotel so trying to sleep with the windows open can sometimes be difficult. There is a lounge on property so it gets loud at night. The staff is great and do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable.

Very clean and comfortable, great view of the river. We were able to walk across it and on a trail. Many people were fishing on both sides of the river. On the hotel's side, it's closed off and only open to guests, so that was nice.

No food offered at this hotel even at the bar. Great view.

Fantastic view and access to Kenai River. In downtown, a sportsman motel. Grills and tables by the river. Fire ring.

Reception is open later than 9pm. The women who checked me was excellent. The location of this Lodge is amazing. Easy access to the river even if you are not fishing. The flow of the water was just so relaxing. We only had one night but again it was perfect and the price was right.

A nice place for a short stay. They have a lounge with outdoor space on the river which is amazing.

The staff lady at the front desk was very nice and super friendly. She explained everything about the location of our room and the amenities available. The view from the room was nice overseeing the Kenai River. The hotel is a little dated but well maintained and it looks like they have remodeled some of the units. This is an open to the outside two story hotel. We had an opportunity to use the outside grill by the river. Only issue we had is that the room was hot and the thermostat in the bathroom was on and no way to turn it off. No A/C (which seems normal in AK). We would have said something but by the time we noticed it was way late to call anyone. Also, because is right by the main highway we could not open the window or leave it open since there is a lot of traffic crossing the bridge.

Chair in room was in need of replacement, the rest of amenities in the room were good. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful.

I really enjoyed the view. We didnt realize how noisy it is here. The lodge is located immediately off the highway. The lodge is showing it's age with moldy bath shower and leaking toilet. Beds were fine and seemed to have clean linens. I would have rather stayed somewhere quieter and cleaner.

Our room is clean and efficient for our 1 night stop. Disappointed with the pillows. Time to get new ones.
