Staff was very friendly at the desk , it was a good clean room- no bells n whistles but good value for the price. I would recommend rhis property.

We’re there last minute for a birthday trip, decided we wanted to stay. Booked this hotel quickly and it was so close to the beach! When we checked in it was a breeze, and super quick. For the location & price yes!! The room was efficient however, it seemed to me to be unclean. The wall next to the toilet was dirty, there was a broken towel holder & hair on the towels. A couple of scrapes on the furniture and just an over all sense of uncleanliness. We didn’t sleep with the bedding, we were uneasy about it. Also the room we received was a really dark room with our window facing another wall. Would have liked more natural light. Checkout was just as easy, the staff member was up early and we were able to hand them the key cards directly.

Didn't like the whole stay. Too many problems to mention. Didn't live up to the rating that I saw which was "Excellent ". We will never stay there again.

I’m completely unsatisfied with the the stay and lack of attention to detail from both the property and Expedia. I’ll share details of the horrific event. Parking is offered as an amenity. There was an event going on in town and I was displaced unable to park at the property. Refrigerator is listed as an amenity to which mine was broken and the front desk did nothing to acknowledge this and my perishable items spoiled. when I contacted expedia post stay regarding concerns they advised their hotel contact was offsite. And I later was denied any reevaluation of the payment nor was I even offered an apology.

Friendly staff

The website stated there was a swimming when indeed there isn’t a swimming pool. The room was filthy dirty. There were hair all over the bathroom floor. The location was nice. It is near the freeway exit and about a 5 minutes walk to the pier and nearby restaurants.

While it’s not a property with luxury amenities, what I love about this property is that it is walkable to everything! Amtrak drop off, shopping, downtown Ventura Main Street, and most importantly, The Beach!

Appreciated the ease of walking to main street. Shopping, food, beach, and a tattoo shop all within a 10-15 minute walk. if you are just looking for a place to put your head at night/shower i’d recommend it.

Upon arriving, There was a stench in the room and the cleaning crew attempted to mask it with a very strong cleaner that was way to potent. The parking lot needs to be re surfaced, and the overall structure of the motel 6 needs a facelift. There was a busted shower head in the bathroom with no water pressure whatsoever. My phone inside the room didn’t work and half of the lights were not working. I got what I paid for , I understand, I’m just reporting what I saw and encountered. Really hope this motel 6 location improves it’s conditions

Everything was ok

My husband and I are medical professionals and stay here often as we don’t live in town, but won’t be returning. We had to call the front desk as someone was smoking pot and it was permeating into our room from the a/c unit. We woke up for work to find not one but two homeless people sleeping outside the door. It’s all a bit too much for $110 a night and sometimes more than that.

The location is wonderful with access to downtown and close to the beach. Its location next to the freeway was not a factor as far as noise. Nothing fancy.

Made this reservation for a room I knew I would only be in for a few hours of sleep during a work trip. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable, and location was very convenient.
