BEFORE BOOKING CONTACT THE HOTEL TO FIND OUT IF THE AIR CONDITIONING IS WORKING!!!
This was our third time here and we were very disappointed. This was a last min trip booked 4 days ahead of time. We had contacted the hotel to upgrade to a swim up room (this was fantastic, especially since it was connected to the infinity pool). However, the lack of air condition in the room, and throughout the resort ruined our trip. The hotel should have informed us that there was no AC. Once we were there we were stuck and the only thing they could do for us is provide us with another fan for the room. There were many bugs in the room and throughout the resort. Our room had two-bathroom sinks, both water just trickled from the faucets. We did report this, but nothing was done. One last complaint, the music from the pool was not stop loud and not to my taste, boom, boom, boom, all day long.
On the positive side the staff was very friendly , the food was wonderful and again we loved the swim up room. However, the lack of AC ruined the trip, I don’t think we will be returning .

Some common areas didn’t have air conditioning..
I don’t know if weather or pandemic has to do the with the lack of upkeep of the property ..as far as poor conditioned aesthetics, this is something they can spend more time fixing. I was hoping this will be my new vacation spot but it was just mid.
Food was EXCELLENT though 🙂 and services were good. I loved Kimberly, such a warm lady, she manages some of the property restaurants and does a great job.

Loved the view from my balcony and glad that i got that room instead of the swim up room the first floor kinda has a mildew smell to it dont know if it smells like that in the rooms down there but definitely by the elevator to go upstairs it smells. Loved the swim up bar overall the hotel was amazing and service was great.

The staff is absolutely amazing. From arrival to departure, the customer service is amazing. The issue with me was constantly having to kill roaches in my suite. This was my second time at the property which is absolutely beautiful, but it's hard to rest knowing that when you turn the lights on roaches start scrambling. The room also had a strong mold odor. No visable mold, but very strong odor. Overall the staff makes up for some of the flaws, but the living quarters definitely need some attention.

We loved almost everything about Zilara especially the staff's friendlyness.(EXCEPT THE BEACH BOYS IN CHARGE OF THE HOBIE CATS. THEY WERE UNFRIENDLY AND WITH A BAD ATTITUDE!)

Property was very dirty, the rooms smelled , i found a live roach in my bathroom. I didnt have a safe in my room to store my belongings. I told them at the front and they never came to bring a safe.

Recent July 4th stay for 5 days. The property is beautiful but needs updating and obvious neglected maintenance. Staff is pleasant but not overly friendly. The vacationers have become more spring break type with loud and partying continuing late into the night.
We will not be returning.

The did not have a safe in the room, ask front desk staff three times still no safe.
The carpet in the hall way and the sheets smelled like mildew in the rooms.

The rooms were really warm. I had to request a fan just to make it tolerable. Most all inclusive resorts have alcohol in the rooms but these did not nor could we order through room service. I ordered the 24 hr room service at 11pm and was told it would be 1.5 hours got 2 from cheese sandwiches and fries. I agreed to it. After 1.5 hours I called again to follow up on the order only to be told it would be another 2 hours. I cancelled the order. Why have 24 hr room service if you can't fulfill the orders. All the restaurants were extremely hot as well to the point I had to keep excusing myself to dry off the sweat from my head. This was a common complaint amongst most people we talked to. It was apparent that these conditions affected the employees and very few seemed to be in a good mood. I don't blame them. The check-in process was good and seamless. The ice machines did not work. I saw roaches in some areas of the resort. All in all, this resort left a lot to be desired.

Horrible service. For the price you pay you shouldn’t experience this kind of service. The rooms were entirely too expensive and the air didn’t work, room service didn’t clean as they should’ve. Management didn’t really care and I was not accommodated for this.

We really really enjoyed our stay here at the Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall. The food was awesome and they had a lot of entertainment. The staff are so friendly and welcoming! They check on us all the time. A big shout out to Leonardo from front desk who made me and my husband’s trip memorable with his excellence service. He quickly responded to any complaints we had and also followed up. He truly made our first trip to Jamaica special. Also to Ryan our bellman. Great service! Anton and Teena ! You all are awesome are true ambassadors to luxury service and hospitality.

This family trip was Awesome. We booked at Hyatt Zilara(adult side). We checked in on Ziva side due to some minor road construction on Zilara side. The check-in “warning is extremely HOT in the lobby area.. no AC it was truly unbearable. Once we were greeted We had the best service from Teena. My junior suite was beautiful, clean and comfortable. We had a minor hiccup with another family member room but “Gabby at Concierge quickly resolved the issue and we were on to our happy vacation. The resort is nice needs some updating especially the hall carpet. Carpet throughout the entire resort needs replacing ASAP.
However, the food, the entertainment is all good. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. Did I mention the food the food was AMAZING.. you do need reservations for some of the restaurants. I suggest once you get situated in your room.. go back to Concierge and make your restaurant reservations for your family/guest. Overall, we had an Awesome experience. I would definitely recommend Hyatt Zilara!

Overall experience was fair. Our dining experience was poor as both the Asian restaurant on site and French on site was dismal. Breakfast was on point. In addition on our second night the AC broke down and quickly recovered the next day…
Shuttles should be included as part of the stay however expect to pay another $80. The biggest issue I had is the sales push to corner you to commit to a few hours to listen on a “timeshare” like pitch. Definitely not for us and not worth missing out on your time..
