Property exceeded all our expectations. View of the ocean and pool was beautiful. staff and bartenders were amazing they went above and beyond to meet our needs. Recommend for a adult trip with friends and family.

Did not like getting caught up in a timeshare proposition. Took 30 minutes of me being very firm about me wanting to leave the breakfast to get back to my vacation. DO NOT sign up the "TOUR". Its a trap. And a total waste of time.

Some staff were friendly and some were rude. The introduction to the check in was very brief and I didn’t know room service was included in this all inclusive stay. Alcoholic drinks were definitely watered down. Food was good at the restaurants where reservations needed to be made in advanced.

Staying at the Zilara was amazing. The ambiance, the views and the staff made the experience so enjoyable. I would recommend this resort to people of all ages because they have activities to accommodate all. Even adults can have fun on the family side(Ziva). Will definitely return in the future.

The property was well maintained. Although we had a good time, I will not be returning for the following reasons: The resort lacks entertainment. The shows they had were mediocre and short at best. The pool bar stops music at 5pm and the pool bar closes at 6pm on the adults side- way too early for the adults only side. The lobby bar also plays live music from 10pm-12am which is also way too early to end the only entertainment on site going on at this time. Basically you are forced to leave the resort for entertainment. Also, when you are visiting the restaurants which are mostly located on the Ziva side, there are children everywhere. If you are looking for adults only resorts, I would recommend booking an actual adults only resort that isn’t shared with a family side. Even though they have an adults only side, encountering children is inevitable and doesn’t truly give you the adults only experience that I have had at other resorts on the island because most of the restaurants are located on the other side. The playa collection desk is a scam- they ask you to participate in a 90 minute presentation promising free spa services. When you call the spa to book your spa appointment with the free voucher they provide, the spa tells you there is no availability. I called 5 minutes later and told the spa representative I did not have a voucher and she said yes of course we have availability today and tomorrow. Truly a scam and disgusting. We will not be returning to Hyatt.

My swim-up suite was nothing short of spectacular. The room depicted a testament to the hotel's commitment at providing an opulent and immersive environment. The meticulously maintained grounds offered a serene backdrop, while the array of activities provided an authentic taste of Jamaican culture. The culinary offerings at Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall were truly exceptional. Each meal was a culinary delight, with the Jamaican jerk cut standing out as a personal favorite—so much so that I indulged in it daily. The consistency and quality of the cuisine offered was impeccable. I have traveled all over the world internationally, and this has the best all-inclusive resort food I have ever had. A standout feature of my stay was the impeccable butler service provided by Jodi-Ann, Christopher, and Jahvai. Their attention to detail was unparalleled, from delivering my morning coffee at precisely 7:30 AM to ensuring my cabana was perfectly appointed each day. Their seamless handling of reservations and personalized service elevated my stay to a level of unmatched comfort and convenience. I highly recommend this hotel

Our housekeeper Sandilina was excellent and very attentive as was the concierge bartenders and cafe staff. Some of the waitresses were not accommodating and the tables around the pool and on the beach were never cleaned sticky and attracting birds. Front desk staff had a bad attitude. Our male waiter for beach dinner and urban Heatz were super! Love the lobby entertainment very classy!

I loved every minute of it. I plan on going back next year

BEFORE BOOKING CONTACT THE HOTEL TO FIND OUT IF THE AIR CONDITIONING IS WORKING!!! This was our third time here and we were very disappointed. This was a last min trip booked 4 days ahead of time. We had contacted the hotel to upgrade to a swim up room (this was fantastic, especially since it was connected to the infinity pool). However, the lack of air condition in the room, and throughout the resort ruined our trip. The hotel should have informed us that there was no AC. Once we were there we were stuck and the only thing they could do for us is provide us with another fan for the room. There were many bugs in the room and throughout the resort. Our room had two-bathroom sinks, both water just trickled from the faucets. We did report this, but nothing was done. One last complaint, the music from the pool was not stop loud and not to my taste, boom, boom, boom, all day long. On the positive side the staff was very friendly , the food was wonderful and again we loved the swim up room. However, the lack of AC ruined the trip, I don’t think we will be returning .

Some common areas didn’t have air conditioning.. I don’t know if weather or pandemic has to do the with the lack of upkeep of the property ..as far as poor conditioned aesthetics, this is something they can spend more time fixing. I was hoping this will be my new vacation spot but it was just mid. Food was EXCELLENT though 🙂 and services were good. I loved Kimberly, such a warm lady, she manages some of the property restaurants and does a great job.

Loved the view from my balcony and glad that i got that room instead of the swim up room the first floor kinda has a mildew smell to it dont know if it smells like that in the rooms down there but definitely by the elevator to go upstairs it smells. Loved the swim up bar overall the hotel was amazing and service was great.

The staff is absolutely amazing. From arrival to departure, the customer service is amazing. The issue with me was constantly having to kill roaches in my suite. This was my second time at the property which is absolutely beautiful, but it's hard to rest knowing that when you turn the lights on roaches start scrambling. The room also had a strong mold odor. No visable mold, but very strong odor. Overall the staff makes up for some of the flaws, but the living quarters definitely need some attention.
