We were there for just a short stop, mostly to sleep. Super cute place, definitely stands out from the road. The only "complaint" from my child was about the cool bathroom floor in the morning - welcome to Wisconsin winters, my child. :)

Check in was smooth, but once in the room there was a dehumidifier running, the carpet was soaked, personal items from the previous customer still there, apparent blood specks on the mattress pad (possible bed bugs?), and numerous fruit flies in the kitchenette area. Girl in the office was very helpful, hotel was completely booked and there were no other rooms available, so I got a refund. Had to find another hotel though and it was a busy weekend, so had to pay double what I was anticipating originally from my reservation.

The cutest motel in the area. This was our second time staying in any kind of motel, so we weren't expecting much. I was impressed by the appearance and cleanliness of the space. The staff was also very friendly and knowledgeable. The half kitchenette was a plus. It was stocked with things such as silverware, plates, colander, pans, etc. The area is pretty quiet, which we enjoyed. My children enjoyed eating breakfast at the pull-out table, watching TV and jumping the beds. This is a good option was returning back to the Sturgeon Bay area.

They went above and beyond to get us a one more night stay at one of their waterfront properties during Labor Day weekend. We had just got married the weekend before and they surprised us with a bottle of door county wine and a nice card ! Definitely will be back !

We enjoyed our stay. It was in a very quiet location and we appreciated the amount of grassy area surrounding the motel as it was a safe area to walk our dog.

Very retro motel. However extremely up dated with a 1960's flair.
May not look like much from the outside but dont let that full you.
Very very clean. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat. You could go elsewhere and pay double but thats just you being pretentiousness.

Shades in the room didn't pull down all the way. Where the carpet met the bathroom tile, the carpet was pulling up, and the carpet was not clean. It seemed like there was a mattress instead of boxsprings under the mattress, and the mattresses were very squishy and not firm. The mattresses seem old, and so do the pillows. The bathroom had been remodeled and it was fine. I would not stay here again.

Bring shower shoes. We had 2 units. One was reasonably clean but the other had a dirty shower and bathroom and stained sheets. There were small cockroaches in the kitchen area. Stayed three days. Its cute. Did not expect 5 star but did want it to be clean.

Clean motel. Updated nicely. Bathroom was very clean! The kitchenette was nice. Had like 3 or 4 of the spiders that hang out on the ceiling. Didn’t love that.

We had a great experience. Our room was very clean & very comfortable & Had everything we needed including a kitchenette. Room was nicely decorated & everything updated. I am very fussy about cleanliness for hotel stays & i was pleasantly surprised! Great location & great value
