Excellent service, 24hr convenience store, and a top-tier hot breakfast in the morning. Ten minute walk to the brewery. 10/10 would stay again.

Exceeded expectations. Pool was a hit with the kids - 2 and 5 year olds.

We had to change room's. The first room had a very wet spot next to the bed that my wife stepped in with no shoes on.

Staff was friendly, room was clean, but the king-sized mattress was too soft, pillows were too soft, a/c didnt work very well.

Not worth the price, which is considerably higher than other options in Northampton. Poor soundproofing of rooms. Heat didn't work in first room I was given, so had to switch.

This was a great place to stay while visiting my daughter at Smith College. The rooms were clean, the building was quiet, and the staff was friendly and attentive.

Great property in a convenient location. Full breakfast in the morning with hot and cold options. Comfortable beds and rooms include mini-fridges & microwaves. Walls are on the thin side and they need to refill shampoo in the showers but other than that this is a great hotel option in Northampton.

The free breakfast was exceptionally good-lots of tasty and fresh options for the whole family. The entire facility was very clean and well maintained including the common areas. Our kids also loved the pool which was well heated during our winter stay and had convenient hours. We also appreciated the 12pm checkout which is later than most hotels.

Great location!

This was the worst stay I've ever had at any hotel. I was on the top floor (room 403) and from the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out, Friday - Sunday, every 4 or 5 minutes like clockwork there was a TERRIBLY LOUD humming noise reverberating through the walls. It was not a noisy guest, it was the building itself. My best guess is there was some kind of HVAC equipment on the roof that was malfunctioning. The first night I barely slept because of the noise. I figured they'd have addressed the issue by the second night but nope. I went and bought some ear plugs but wow, those are sooo uncomfortable to leave in your ears for more than a few minutes and sleeping on them was very painful, so again I slept poorly. I took a video on my phone that captures the noise clearly which I still have. This was at least my 4th time staying in this hotel and it used to be my go-to place when visiting in town, but I will not likely stay here again.

The breakfast had a lot of options. The hotel is showing some wear and tear. I gues it’s not customary to provide lotion and that was missed.

The hotel was overall nice, but the wallpaper in the bathroom had stains and was peeling in some spots. Wallpaper in the room peeling also. Room was much smaller than expected and the shower door wouldn’t stay shut and would get the floor soaking wet

The Fairfield is reliably clean, well cared for, and affordable. The service is kind and accommodating. I wish our first floor room didn't have an outside light blaring into the room, but other than that it was great.

Nice place, stay here all the time. Beds are very Comfortable.

I think the breakfast is great. Room is small and dark and we found a bug in the bed. The price on Saturday is steep. I can spend the night in nyc for the same amount.
