Clean room, quiet hotel in a good area

Really great staff & even looked out for my car!

The facility was friendly but the hallways, elevator and all carpet areas were in severe need of vacuuming and shampooing

Booked this hotel after finding out the hotel we originally booked in the area was super gross by another company. Pet friendly, super friendly staff. Beautiful rooms and clean soft bed. Highly recommend - will be back if we need a hotel in the area.

Our stay was fine. We slept well. Staff was friendly. Room was not as clean as I like. There is literally no common space beyond a sofa and tv. Breakfast options included only few packaged breakfast items, which you pay for and take back to your room. I booked this hotel in a hurry in an emergent situation. It was ok, but probably would not choose it again.

Not clean bathrooms, doors in the bathrooms are black from hand marks and looks like never been cleaned. Bathrooms are OLD. Overall Not very clean

I was in San Angelo visiting my son who is attending Angelo State University. Everything at you hotel was as it should be. I know that doesn't sound like a rave review but for me it is. I don't expect a lot when traveling...just what you promise. And that is what I got. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room. But the thing that made this trip stand out is that I left a very expensive watch in my room and I was barely 10 miles out of town when my phone rang. I almost didn't answer it but thankfully did. It was the manager on duty saying that the person cleaning the room had found my watch. I believe her name was Rosalita or something close to that. I turned around and drove back to the hotel to retrieve my watch. They had my watch ready for me when I arrived. I thanked everyone for their honesty, gave the lady that found it a $100 and got on my way. Please recognize them for this act of kindness because it is hard to find these days.

We stayed at the location for one night. The hotel photos do not depict the room quality we experienced. The decor seemed outdated and old. This made the room feel dirty. There was a grease mark on the headrest part of the chair in the room which made us not want to sit on anything. My wife nearly wanted to sleep in our car due to the conditions of the room. This seemed to be a long-term stay type hotel with kitchenette and full refrigerator. There was a sewage smell coming from the bathroom so we had to close the door. We were so tired from our travels, we didn't bother complaining about the condition, we just wanted to sleep.

Room was very clean.

We like that the hotel has a kitchenette, so we were able to cooked meals save money. I disappointed there were no breakfast included with the stay. Overall, I graded 4 of 5 stars. Will definitely stay again next time.

The guy that checked us in was top notch!

The recliner was falling apart. I reported it. Nothing was done. At the end of the second day, when we returned to the room, I inquired and was told that it would not be fixed or replaced. Upon returning that night, we were offered an “upgrade” from two queen beds to a king size bed. We were tired and not interested in changing rooms after putting up with the problem for two nights.

We were happy to stay at this hotel, a welcome respite from driving in cold weather. We would stay again.

We went on a girls trip to San Angelo and we had a great experience at Candlewood Suites. The staff was friendly, the hotel was clean and the parking lot was very well lit. The only minor detail that we didn't even think to report when we checked out was that the AC unit had a rattle everytime it turned on. We didn't really notice it during the day but woke me up every time it clicked on during the night. It was still a great stay!

Room looks good and very clean

We were extremely pleased with the Candlewood Suites. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Only criticism that I have is that there was no ice machine…had to rely on refrigerator in room which is fine for longer stays but coming in late afternoon, there was no ice readily available and with this Tx heat, ice is needed.

Great location. Patrick at the front desk was awesome and had such a great personality. Our room could have been cleaner. It had a smell that drove my husband crazy and the carpet and floor in the kitchen had pieces of dried food all over it.

Very clean. The bed was comfortable. We will go back.
