Super calm and relaxing. The kids that are serving are amazingly polite. Every employee I met from Yamaha reefs beginning with taxi that picks you up from airport is very helpful and treat you like royalty . Great experience for sure

Went here a few days relaxing, great location and beach spot. Service is good, facilities could be a new shape but good overall. Food a bit disappointed some times, same dish different servings or ingredients. Everything needs to extra charge, wine knowledge needs to train.

The place is awesome.. The service is good... communication with management not so good... food prices too high...not enough food for ammount of money i paid... A lobster plate had only a mandarine slide size for $35.00 dollars... another thing is that I was not told about the $160 transportation fee up front... Also I waited for a taxi that did not show at the time that I was told by management. Breakfast is $15.00... And menu is in english only.. The place is good, confortable, clean... The staff was nice and well educated..

A beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting. Everything about this place is excellent: grounds, rooms, and service. I do highly recommend this hotel. Stay at least one night. More is better, though 😊

The property itself and the rooms are beautiful! The staff were also very attentive and our room was always very clean and well stocked. However, it is extremely expensive (food, drinks, transportation) compared to the rest of the island and Nicaragua in general. Further, the walk to get there and back to town on a long, muddy, unmaintained path through the jungle. The alternative to walking is a $10 per person water taxi that takes ~5 mins, which in my opinion was quite the rip off. Overall the place seems like more of an American tourist money grab than anything authentically Nicaraguan. There was also no wifi during our entire stay which was quite the inconvenience, but we were compensated for this after speaking to the manager about our concerns.

Yemaya Reefs was wonderful. A true paradise!! The view and beach is absolutely stunning. The staff and everyone on the island are so nice. Would definitely go back again.

The staff was amazing. It was truly paradise on earth. I wish we had just stayed in Little Corn instead of doing both Little and Big Corn.

We loved the view and the beach of this hotel, the rooms are also very nice. There is a lot of wind in this side of the island and is a little far from the town. we were a little disappointed of the restaurant, during of 5 days we couldn't eat fresh fish because they didn't have some products and they had a kitchen problem. Also the dishes are always the same (it would be nice to change at least 1 or 2 dishes every week) and you are forced to eat there every night because you need 30 min to go to the village. The staff was very very nice but one member was kind of rude (nora) she interrupted us during our last diner just to make sure that we were going to check out at the time required by the hotel and called the next morning to confirm again (!) thanks all for our nice stay :)

The facilities and the beach of the hotel are excellent. Probably the best beach in Nicaragua. Sparkling clean rooms, very comfortable and well design! Amazing views from almost any spot of the hotel. Quite on the pricey side, which is okay, but the front desk service does not necessarily correspond to what you pay. For example, to reach the airport you need to get on a ferry. In our case, our transfer from the hotel was organized so late, we ended up nearly missing the ferry. Despite having the option to reserve spots on the ferry in advance, the hotel did not reserve for us (nor did the staff offer this option). Also, I found the food in the restaurant to be "hit and miss", which again does not necessarily align well with what you pay for.

The property is located in a paradise. The cabin with a plunge pool is a must if you are considering going here. There is cero crime in the island so nothing to worry if you want to explore around the island. The staff is friendly and client oriented. My only complaint is the logistic on how they get you off the island. We were stuck for 6 hours waiting for a confirmed-panga-departure that it turned out not to be true. We could have enjoyed our room a little bit longer if the staff had solid information that transportation was on the way. My recommendation to the staff would be that the admin should be more efficient with communication between the hotel and the Nicaraguan marina, so they can rely on solid information about panga’s departure instead of relying on whatever the panga’s captain says to them. We felt like left on our own once we were at the little corn pier and the panga didn’t leave so we had to take the weekly cargo ship back to big corn. The locals were telling us that this ship wouldn’t arrive until 5:30 pm. If the locals knew there is no way that the admin didn’t know this information as well. Instead, we were left at the pier at 1200 pm, and we had to wait for 6 hours for out transportation back. We understand that this was not under normal weather conditions, but the admin should strive for better logistics, so the client won’t suffer the improvisation of getting their stay cut short due to bad weather so we would not lost our flight back to Managua.

Double-charged for a meal at the restaurant. Did not respond to repeated email requests for a refund for double-charging. Dishonest. Avoid.

Quiet island with beautiful views, high quality serice and delicous food, will come back one day!

An absolute must if you are in Nicaragua! The staff were amazing right from the start of us landing on the island right till the very end! Town is a 30 minute walk full of great bars and people!

Worst management and middle management which doesn't care about guest and have no sense of hospitality! Room view and place was really nice and here it ends. Management is one of the worst that I have ever seen. Without any filing for hospitality and treating guests. Only way to the hotel is with small boat from the village/main little dock. And on the last day at 13:00 they sit us in the boat and left us waiting for 30 minutes so that it started raining really heavily and we were sitting in a boat with our luggage. Than when we were silky wet captain arrived and took us to the village/main little dock from where Panga (shuttle boat) starts for Big Corn and left us there. But Panga didn't get permission from Navy/Water Police to start for the Big Corn due to the strong wind which was about 20 MPH and this is the limit. So they informed us that today we will not be able to reach Big Corn and that we need to cancel/postpone our flights. But this is higher force and we couldn't do anything. On this boat we were 4 couples from Yemaya and a girl member of middle management from Yemaya when she saw the situation she just escaped back to Hotel and we immediately contacted Yemaya and informed them about our situation and that we are at least 1 night without any accommodation on this small Island. We were writing e-mails and calling them but they didn't answer any e-mail and on the phone they were suddenly speaking just Spanish and they were fully booked even the fact anyone is co

By far the best plave I’ve ever been!! Evveryone was so loving and kind. Treated us with open arms and made us feel at home. I HIGHLY recommend. John, Alvaro, Jeer and Oreestes were by far the best staff we ever encountered.

The staff were sooo nice! You really felt you were on a private island all to yourself. Great family vacation.
