Excellent

I enjoyed our stay. Everyone is so nice and helpful. I stay here several times a year! My mom lives close enough to walk to visit and I love that. My room was clean, had air conditioning, the pool and hot tub are awesome.

Expedia had our reservation wrong. Called the property twice to verify dates. Was told “no problem” by hotel staff only to arrive and reservation could be found.

Front staff was rude and not welcoming at all. At checkout she was just very abrupt. Don't care to interact with her again.

The bed was on some metal platform which was to high for me. I had to grab the sheet and pull myself into the bed. The was some odor coming out of the toilet

The staff was very friendly, the room was super clean, and the view is gorgeous! It was also in a grear location. We were able to walk to several coffee shops, places to eat, and to shop. We would stay here again.

The hotel was clean and quiet. A little more than a half mile walk to most shops and restaurants in the center of town. The patio was shared with others on the same floor.

Floors in my room made my feet black and dirty, outlets in bathroom did not work had to dry my hair in the sleeping area, Hot tub was cold. I was 19 minutes early the lady at the desk told me 4means 4 and complained about previous guests

Needed a place for my son to stay after his car broke down coming home from college. Booked online at 11pm and didn’t realize check in time closed at 10pm. My son had to sleep in his broke down car. Called several times for refund with no answer.

The only thing we didn’t like was the extra lock that most places have higher up on the door wasn’t there. So multiple times our little 3 year old kept trying to run out of the room.

Just stayed for a night and chose this hotel for its price and location. It's an easy walk into town and there's a fantastic breakfast restaurant 200' away. The bathroom sink was extremely slow to drain, but more frustrating was the poor to non-existent wifi. Stayed here last year and would likely stay again.

I was surprised to see actual two bedrooms in 2 queens room hotel, which is unusual. Hot tub is new, big and perfectly works. Pool is ok, 3 to 4 feet dip with slightly chill water. Check-in was okay, except there were pretty much people in line.

Hot tub was very dirty and lukewarm. Place as expected for the price otherwise.

loved the hot tub and tv set up! we had a long day of relaxing after a very busy wedding weekend….so happy we found this place, we will be back!

The room was basic, but big. Loved the bathroom with its barn door, took me a few minutes to realize the light switches were behind the open door. Bed was very comfortable. I was surprised at how quiet the room was considering I was the end room next to a very busy road. No river view, anymore, at least from my room. Trees have grown and obscure the view, but you are minutes to the river, within walking distance of my favorite breakfast place, Egg River. In walking distance from groceries, liquor store, Walmart, and several good restaurants. Downtown Hood River is also an easy walk. One thing I wish they had was a snack machine, if they had one I couldn’t find it, and another ice machine more accessible to the rooms. Recommend.

The location was convenient to going downtown. The neighborhood was quiet. Parking was convenient and the pool / hot tub area looked clean. To say there is a river view is technically correct, depending upon where you’re standing. The view from our window was of a residential side yard being used for parking by locals. The mattresses were okay but one bed frame squeaked whenever one moved and the linens were sub par. The other furniture in the room was oversized and made moving around awkward. We were in a “remodeled” section of the hotel, which was suggested because it afforded two separate rooms for privacy, which my daughter liked the idea of. However, the lay out of the room(s) was strange, with the entry from an enclosed hallway being into the first room with a bed but no windows or AC, then a doorway to a second room, with a jack and Jill bathroom. If the person in the first room wanted privacy by closing the door they could not get fresh air, natural light, nor the benefit of AC.

Tammy at the front desk is nice but overworked, as are the rest of the staff. Ownership needs to find and adequately pay more staff.

Easy check in. Very nice people here. We would definitely stay here again!

The room was relatively spacious. The bathroom was clean. It would have been nice to have some counter space in the bathroom however.

Overall a great little room. Wasn’t prepared to have to do stairs with luggage! In the pool building every time someone opens the exterior door it creates a wind tunnel, not a very friendly noise at 5:45 AM

This is one of the best hotels we have been at friendly, quiet, and very well kept.

The owner is very lovely and down to earth

They’ve obviously been doing a lot of updating. Very clean, slight smell of new furniture or chemical, probably from the renovations. Friendly staff, pretty grounds. The hot tub was being replaced, sad that I couldn’t use it but will be nice for future guests.
