Had two in room meals both were incorrect
I thought this motel was at a higher standard from previous stays. The food from the restaurant was pretty average.

Air conditioning does not work very well. Breakfast was very ordinary for the amount we paid. Everything was very dated. Would not stay again. And would not recommend to anyone.

We booked the cottage for extra space and it was worth it (for the space). Restaurant and bar closed which was disappointing - no mention of this at time of booking. On a main road - very noisy at night. Cottage had a terrible sewerage smell. Don’t expect wifi to work in the cottage, it doesn’t and when you contact reception they sound “surprised, this hasn’t happened before”. Would be great to have laundry facilities. Has potential to be better.

Quiet, clean room. Liked the extra touches in the room - decent reading lamps and clock. Fresh milk was provided. Also the fridge had some beers, wines and soft drinks for sale (reasonably priced). Would recommend. Tamworth has a fantastic playground for kids.

Everything was excellent except for one thing. In room 109, I don’t know if this applied to all rooms, in the shower, there was one tiny, and wonky, soap dish, that, being wonky, could hold nothing. An otherwise almost perfect place spoilt by a tiny flaw. Install a shelf, or at worst a shower caddy that can actually hold something! And many thanks for letting me check in early on a wet day.
