Dated, but worth what I paid for, towels and bed were clean, it’s all I ask for pretty much!

Great for one night stay. Owners were very polite and clear with information. Bed was newer. Washroom could be next on list of upgrades needed. On site restaurant was open and looked lively, although since someone reviewed it wasn't open on their previous visit we had already eaten elsewhere.
The owner said they cleaned my room with vinegar as i have sensitivity to animals and cigarette smoke, which was very kind. They took the extra time to acknowledge my note.

It was ok for a night stay on our trip home. Just off the highway so very convenient. Looks like the owners have just bought the property and are slowly upgrading the place.

This is a typical older roadside otel. Good inexpensive place to spend the night. Very nice, friendly and great owners.

Decent motel, but a bit worn-looking -- stains in sink & tub, very basic "essentials", reception/check-in in a house down the hill (hard to tell where), nothing nearby (have to drive to next exit for restaurants, as theirs is not open). Nice coffee maker in room, good wifi, TV, and a/c.

For one night it was comfortable and clean. The beds were hard for us and the wifi was weak to nonexistent. I wish the restaurant had been open and hope it works out for them in the future. We would stay here again.

Expedia continues in failing to update their information about the Hotel/Motels. Once again No Restaurant even though Expedia tells us that there is one.

Staff was very friendly, and check in was smooth. Property had a river/stream and picnic tables. The bathroom door was closed and bathroom smelled of urine. Air conditioner hardly worked so room was hot. Paid $312 for pet friendly, so in my opinion overpriced with no breakfast.

This family ran hotel was amazing. The setting is lovely right along s stream. With seating.
Upon check in, we were told of the pool, a public BBQ.
We would stay here again, even though it was the most expensive hotel we paid for on our trip.

Property is by a stream. Chairs to sit out in the evening to relax was nice. Property very dated. I was kind of shocked at first but for the price it was a roof over our head

The staff are very sweet and kind! Peaceful, clean and quiet. good place to take a rest on a long road trip. Thank you! 1 minute off the highway so convenient

Staff very friendly...looking forward to the upgrades, beds were comfortable, but property is run down, overhead fan and wall airconditioner were very dusty...seamless check in and out...the young lady who checked us in was a sweetheart!!

This is a see little hotel. The owners are doing a lot of improvements and it is very clean and comfortable. They are super friendly and the area is very nice.

Room was clean and staff was very pleasant. Water pressure for shower was not great and on check in the best we could get was lukewarm.

The owners were friendly. My mother taught me that if you have nothing nice to say,say nothing at all. In this case l cannot do that. This motel is definitely not worth the money at all and l would never recommend it to anyone. It's needs a whole lot of work before it should be considered for any stars.

While some of the property seemed well maintained, other parts were worn out and dated. It was a quiet location. Not worth the price though.

A port in a storm on my travels home from Nova Scotia. Arrive late in bad weather off the St Johns ferry. The room was big clean and quiet. Very convenient location right off transcanada. I would stay here again!

Nice quiet spot to spend the night. Clean, comfortable room. The room had coffee maker, fridge and microwave. There was a nice grassy area with benches to sit by the water. I would gladly stay here again.

Although I had heard good things about this property (from my father), I was greatly disappointed from the moment I drove up the laneway. My room was not only dirty, i.e., used tissues on the counters, the bathtub/shower was so ....... I couldn't even bring myself to take a shower. As far as safety goes, the door to the unit was off-kilter. I had to struggle and put all my weight into it to get the door to bolt. Perhaps they gave this unkept room because I had a pet? Either way, I will not visit this motel again.

Everything dirty Coffee machine not clean floor dirty yellow stain on pillow, bathtub is heavily chipped. Tv not working. People were smoking in from our room . Our room smelled like cigarettes. Small bucket with sand on the floor right under window for ashtray . Extra blanket smelled bad. Towels were new and clean though…

Owner very helpful. They are still renovating so somethings aren’t complete. It is a nice location and I’m sure very attractive when complete. 🙂

Clean, quiet, family run motel. Owner super friendly, close to the highway, a great place for a good nights sleep. People were fishing in the river on the property while we were there, so fishing might be good.

Great budget motel for an overnight stop. Lovely owner who recently bought and is fixing the property up. One exit away to the Casino. Near the river so probably a nice spot for a walk. There's an outdoor pool but I didn't take a look. Comfy bed but only a sheet and a thin cover. Bathroom was tiny tiny. There was a fridge and a microwave so bring food if you don't have transportation.
