Overall, loved the resort & the fact that it was adults only & smaller & quieter. Pool was fantastic & stays open till 8pm which was appreciated & there were plenty of lounge chairs. The beach is small but nice and clean & a close walk from the hotel. No pressure to partake in the activities but they were limited, repetitious & largely in the early part of the day. Great bars where the bartenders are not shy with the alcohol. The Italian restaurant was just so-so but the seafood restaurant was excellent. Buffet food, while plentiful, was largely mediocre except for the pizza and pastries, which were delicious. Could definitely use more vegetables and food could be more seasoned. Also would be nice to have more authentic Dominican cuisine. The buffet staff was very good with a special shout out to the servers, especially Yordelisa who was so sweet. The hotel room was good overall & the bed comfortable. But there was only one chair in the room & no table, more seating is needed. The bathroom was spacious but there was only hot water in the shower in the morning & it could have used more towels. The fridge was barely cold with no freezer section & there are no ice machines around the hotel. Espresso machine with little capsules was helpful. Patio was nice as was the plunge pool but the jets get turned off by 10pm and there were these centipede-like worms in it sometimes. Would stay there again, but hope they take to heart these suggestions for improvements.

Beautiful bungalow room, better food than I expected from other reviews. Beautiful grounds and beach. Easy check in, check out. Low key adult resort, walkable compared to the huge Punta Cana resorts. Las Terrenas is beautiful and deserves a visit if you love the DR like us. No complaints. Will definetely visit again, but there are so many more places in the DR we have to visit. And the beach walks during twilight are magical.

Great adults only Hotel! Great place for relaxing

The hotel is very nice and convenient,the staff is very friendly,very clean and relaxing,Gabriel the buffet supervisor is amazing he will do whatever it takes to make you comfortable,it’s a great place to enjoy.

The property was beautiful and the beach on the property was an amazing view. The property would be perfect if it had more food options :)

Second time here and without hesitation what I like the most of this property is the entertainment team. They truly make you feel like family. I'll go back time and time again because of them. Service it's the second best. Everyone you talk to have a smile on their face 24/7 even when they look tired. Two things I didn't like this time was our room was on the second floor and my mom is an elderly woman so that was an inconvenient but I didn't asked to be moved and the other thing was with the housekeeping. When we got to the room we only had 2 big towels so I went to the front desk to ask for more and same thing with bottled water. Almost everyday I was calling or going to reception to request water. Besides that I reassure I love this place and I'll be back soon. My personal thanks to Luis Enrique (bartender) Leo, Ariel, Chocolate, Connie, Federica, Wagner and Jeremy, you guys are simply the best!

The pool is too small for the amount of guests. Also, several wall returns on the pool were not working and created areas with lots of dirt.
