It was fine… cleanish. Bring your own pillow if you can because the pillows are flat and used which is gross.

Melody Ranch Motel is a quaint, retro, small family run business that has been there for many years. We were greeted by one of the owners who was lovely. We entered our room with regular key. Our room was clean and comfortably small. It had a refrigerator and small coffee pot. The motel is within walking distance to downtown where there are plenty of places to eat and shop. Vina Robles is 15 minutes away. I’d definitely stay again.

If you want a clean comfy no frills home base that’s a 2 minute walk to downtown you can’t do better than Melody Ranch. The vintage room was clean and comfy. The pool was perfect for a quick dip. The staff was very friendly.

So actually, we had to cancel our stay last minute and it was nonrefundable. However, the front desk was able to rent the room out and refund us in full unbelievable service.

The Staff are very nice and accommodating. The rooms are straight up 1950 which was our draw to the motel, good memories of traveling as a kid. The beds are comfy and the room/bathroom clean so it was perfect.
