I booked at around 8pm and drove 3 hours to get to the hotel and the door was locked I rang the door bell for 30 mins and nothing , yelled to get someone attention and nothing , don’t book this hotel with out calling first to see if someone is there working or you will be left outside

Beautiful B&B; away from old town. We walked everywhere - takes about 15-20 mins to Lagos old town. Magaa at the front desk was very helpful. Good breakfast every morning.

Nice hotel!, our corner room with attached bath was clean and comfortable. Though room did not have a window the hotel had a nice view from the top floor. Included breakfast was wonderful the best part was fresh orange juice. Will go back to this hotel:-)

I think that this hotel is greatly overlooked as it deserves to be more than a 2 star! I loved how it had a nice garden outside our room. It had a very home feel and I wish I would have stayed longer!Very impressive terrasse with a nice viewpoint and game room. The place felt like being in a tropical destination!The room was decent and I liked how it had shampoo/body wash dispensers in the room. For some people who want more space in their room it might be a bit of an issue but I really didnt mind it since we didnt need that much space. It was located in a quiet area and not a far walk from the beach. It was less than 10min drive to the marina so we just took an uber to get there and it didnt cost much (5euros). The free breakfast that came with it was absolutely amazing! It had a wide range of options including eggs with some pastries and fresh fruit (most probably from the garden around). One of the best breakfast I have had! So dont be fooled with the 2 star rating as this bed and breakfast exceeded my expectations!

Rooms are very very small. You only get a bed, a toilet and a shower. No good for the price. The owner is also very arrogant... Will definitively not stay there again

We had a really bad experience at this "hotel", and I would recommend that you avoid that the same happens to you by not staying there.
For the price we paid, the quality of the room and toilet was very dissapointing, but the worst part is the way the staff treated us. On our last day, it was the hottest day of the year, and we planned to check out and finally enjoy the pool, as we had already done so many times in other accommodations worldwide. By the check out we were rudely informed that we were no longer allowed to stay there as we were "no longer guests". We were also told that "this is not a hotel" and that being a "hostel" they had different rules. Funny enough they announce themselves as a hotel in internet when it's convenient. We could have stayed by the pool by paying extra €10 per person, which is ridiculous considering the abusive prices we had already paid for that "hotel". We left so angry and so dissapointed!

Stayed there for 1 night. Room was adequately furnished with good wifi access and most importantly very clean. It was a rather chilly night but the blankets kept us warm at night as there is no heating provision in the room.
We drove to the hotel so we are not too sure whether the city and the beaches are within walking distance.
Breakfast was a pleasant surprise when compared to more upmarket hotels. Fresh orange juice, coffee and bread did it for us.
Overall it was one of the better value places that we stayed during our road trip through Spain and Portugal.

The room was basic and rather old looking (old furnitures and curtains). The curtains and the bathroom did not feel the cleanest (e.g. the curtains were heavily covered in dust). The overall room was OK for the price though.The receptionist and I believe also the owner of the place was not super friendly, which was the biggest downside of the stay.The rest was OK.

What a surprise this place was. We arrived and we're greeted with a very warm and friendly staff and owner. They were say helpful and provided us with very useful information.
Plus they gave a us a welcome Sangria drink.
The pool was very clean and the guest house had 3 levels of outdoor seating that looked out to the ocean.
The most surprising was the home made breakfast, where the owner had made all of the bread and the pastries, the best we had in Europe.

The owners and employee are really friendly. The dinner they serve for 5 euros each nice is really good! The location is a little out of the town, so it's quiet and close to some really nice beaches. Would definitely go back!!!

A good basic hotel, no frills, rooms pleasant enough, but no tea/coffee making facilities or a TV in the rooms. The only TV was in the lounge/den which seemed to be fixed on one Portuguese station. A very nice terrace, but because of a new build the ocean view was severely restricted. Breakfast was continental style, which was served by the staff, ordinary plebs, sorry guests were not allowed anywhere near the hot water or the juice machine. The best attribute this hotel has is its staff, particularly Madra, very friendly, excellent English, lots of local information. The down side for this hotel is the constant dogs barking especially in the evening.

Fantastic little place, very nice welcoming staff. The hotel has very nice common areas and a great atmosphere. This was a very nice stay, the rooms are basic, no TV, no fridge, not even at place to hang your clothes, but the place is fantastic. Highly recommended little spot, and the beaches in the area are stunningly beautiful. Good hotel where you feel at home and can relax.
