Our stay at Parkside Guest House was flawless. The room was pristine with no cleanliness issues, it was very comfortable and the communal games room and sitting area were a lovely surprise. Breakfast was included and there was good selection for everyone. Zoe the host was lovely and friendly and she went above and beyond for us. Check In & Out was simple. Overall stopping here made our stay all the more enjoyable.

Nice clean, well presented property in a lovely area, and a very pleasant & friendly lady manager who checked us in. The only let down was the selfish behaviour from the room next door, who clearly didn’t give a damn about who they disturbed at all hours of the night and the mess they left in the shared kitchen.

Very reasonable price for a five star guest house.

Lovely room and facilities. Immaculately clean. All rooms were occupied but still very quiet, no disturbances at all. I like the diy breakfast arrangement. Fridge available with fresh milk if needed for drinks in room. Would definitely stay again.

Comfortable bed, all the amenities one would expect. Continental self serve breakfast was very good, and the hostess was extremely friendly and helpful

Cathy was very welcoming. Ground floor ideal room No7. The accommodation was clean cozy and the towels were soft and large. The bed was comfortable. Two kitchens were amazing, one to cook own food & one for the breakfast cereals toast juice etc. I highly recommend this accommodation.

Lovely staff and property. Plenty of parking spaces. Wish I would have been told you can cook and store food as we could have brought our favorite breakfasts and meals. Breakfasts here were nice enough however but eating out facilities were not so great.

Great stay, friendly staff

Very clean and well-appointed accommodation offering very good value for money. Self-service basic continental breakfast included. We plan to return.

Very comfortable indeed, and there’s good pub food (and ale) available just across the road. I look forward to staying here again next time I’m in the area.

This cosy guesthouse has just had a complete refurb, and all finished to a good standard. The location is very quiet which suited us perfectly. The house is kept very clean and Catherine was always on hand to make sure our stay was comfortable. Even when we couldn’t check out at the 10am slot she put us at ease and said not to worry as some places can’t wait to slap the surcharge on you. If there was anything negative I think the breakfast could have a bit more variety instead of the basic toast and cereals. Maybe some fresh fruit would be a nice addition but on the whole it was a very pleasant stay and definitely would go back for another visit.

Very welcoming great location couldn’t ask for more

We are touring all over the UK visiting cities and castles along the way. The inn had a full kitchen and space in the fridge/freezer so that we could cook a meal using food we bought in the co-op in nearby town of Snaith. Great proximity to the castles covered by the English Heritage pass. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was self serve with all the standards. This is a great place for tourists on the move. Highly recommended.

All rooms equipped with cctv cameras spying at you & lots of notices/warnings attached to walls/panels telling you what to/or not to do ! Very poor breakfast,only cereal (3 kinds) and bread & butter, not even a slice of ham/cheese!!! One have to pay extra money for an egg !!!! For a much cheaper price we got so much more the day after in another guest house! At least we spent only 1 night here!

Complimentary breakfast is provided including yoghurts, toast, cereal etc. Only drawbacks are that the area is a bit out of the way of any good food outlets so a drive is required to eat well in the evening. But at this price its magnificent for the money. I will be booking again for definite.
