Great stop over driving from New Brunswick

We were there one night and it was a very comfortable room and quiet.

In a beautiful area of New Hampshire. We just needed a place to sleep as we were biking across New Hampshire headed for Bethel Maine. This was a good price, especially for summer season.

I don’t need anything fancy, as long as it’s clean and everything works I’m fine. It was clean, though the bathroom inexplicably smelled like chicken soup. Only complaints are we couldn’t find a hair dryer and there was a huge hole inside the bathroom sink cabinet than went into the floor. Kinda creepy. Also, not having staff on duty 24/7, while understandable, is inconvenient for those who arrive late and leave early. Other than that the shower had good water pressure and temperatures were normal, the beds were clean and we had plenty of pillows.

The only thing I didn't like was it was had to get out of but that's not the property's fault it's the fault of the drivers going by not doing the speed limit. The only complaint I have about the property itself was the bed. BUT I would stay there again.

As other reviewers have mentioned, we had a clean basic room at this older motel which is convenient to the many hiking trails nearby. No frills such as coffee, but room had a mini fridge and EV level 2 charger on site for a small fee. Would stay again for area hiking.
