I have infact stay at this hotel before when communities with no compaints at all therefore recommended myself and family stay here for 1 night while away on a Christmas shopping trip. I did receive an email prior to this stating there would be an event happening on the same evening, see below: We'd like to inform you that there will be an event at our hotel during the dates of your reservation. Rest assured, we are fully committed to ensuring your comfort and convenience throughout your stay. Please be aware that due to the event, there may be limited availability of bar food at certain times; however, this will not affect breakfast service. No where was it mentioned/pre warned that we would be put in room 205 (directly above the function room) and that loud music would continue till 1am!!!!! If I had known this I would never have book to stay this night. The following morning at breakfast we were seated at a table with slippery oil underneath and the waitress spilt milk all over table and chair (which is a simple accident no harm done) but then walked off and didn’t attempt to clean it up at all!! Will not recommend or ever stay here again

Convenient location and easy to get to. Staff were all friendly. Nice spacious room with good size desk to work on. Nice to have a bath and to have constant hot water. Shame some of the lights in the room were not working.

The Inn on the Lake Hotel is excellent value. The low price included a full service English breakfast (also other varied offerings). Restaurant had a wide range of oferings. I will stay there again.

Had a lovely evening check in was simple room was clean tidy and spacious had a meal in the bar food was excellent and timely found all staff to be friendly and helpful

Booked the bridal room. Lovely room. Spacious with a lovely view of the lake and a four poster bed. There was an event on at the hotel on the night of our stay but it didn't disturb us. Breakfast was a bit disappointing but edible. Overall a good hotel

Awful out dated hotel in need of full refurbishment, Poor quality mattresses and 30 year old furniture. It's like going back into a time warp.... Never again!!!

The overall impression of the hotel was that although it was clean it looked so tired and out dated. Our bath was badly chipped and marked which was off putting. The tv in the room was tiny and high on the wall. The communal areas looked a little 70's but again were all very clean.

my stay was not too good, there was a bad smell in the toilet.
