It's conveniently located near Volcano National Park and offers a great opportunity to enjoy nature. The villa on the spacious grounds is clean. The nights are quiet, and the refreshing mornings at this lodge, with its friendly staff, make me want to stay here again.

It was a wonderfully clean and excellent hotel. Despite having a small number of guest rooms, the facilities were well-equipped, allowing for a very comfortable stay. The jacuzzi in the forest was very relaxing. The restaurant’s food was delicious, and the staff’s service was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

This lodge is amazing if you are exploring the National park. Its only about a mile from the enterance so you can get out early and beat the crowds. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurant was really good too. We really enjoyed our stay!

We stayed in the cottage and it was exceedingly charming and comfortable. Staff were truly kind and gracious, and we had two great meals at the main restaurant. The nature trail on the property was a nice bonus. Great location near the national park and close to other restaurants, too. Staying at the Kilauea Lodge was the highlight of our trip.

The lodge is set in beautiful surroundings. There is a nature trail and hot tub too! The restaurant is supurb and the staff are verry helpful. I can't recommend it enough.

restaurant open way to late, 9:30 for breakfast. no TV, radio. Trail could use some gravel, muddy, signs to identify plants.

Friendly staff at checkin, beautiful room with fireplace, and the best sleep I’ve had in weeks. The grounds are gorgeous and we woke up to chirping birds. Definitely happy and would rebook!

Loved our stay at this property! It was the perfect location to be close to volcano national park and the property was beautifully taken care of. We enjoyed relaxing at the hot tub and walking the nature trails during our stay. We hope to come back and visit!

Fantastic spot, rustic and older facilities but all in good clean shape. Newly renovated bathrooms by the look of them. Really cosy feel, staff over-the-top friendly. Was a little leery due to the state of most places in Volcano but this was a fantastic suprise. So close to all the great hiking spots. Food in the restaurant was tasty.

Amazing views everywhere you looked! The restaurant was also great. Great selections for both local food and classic choices. Highly recommend staying here!

We were looking for a place to stay close to the national park. This lodge was the perfect place for us! It was very close to the park entrance, the rooms were very clean, staff was kind and the hot tub was great! We also went to the restaurant for dinner which was good. All in all this is a great option for those looking to stay near the national park.

Very relaxing, attention to detail. Nice common area and hot tub. I recommend the MaiTai in the restaurant.

Easy access to volcano national park and nice stay.

My husband and I stayed here for one night after exploring the national park just a few minutes down the road. The staff who greeted us at check-in were so friendly and welcoming. Our room was comfortable with plenty of space. We enjoyed dinner in our room from the on-site restaurant where we also had breakfast prior to checking out. I highly recommend eating here and checking out the gift shop full of Hawaiian goods. Also, in the gift shop is a cooler of wine/beer which can be enjoyed in the comfort of your room. The staff was gracious enough let us borrow wine glasses and a corkscrew for the night. Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay while visiting the national park. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer!

Our 1 night stay and dinner at Kilauea lodge was a highlight of our 10 day vacation. The lodge was comfortable and felt like a true Hawaiian experience. I loved the sounds of the rainforest after dark. So unique! The hosts and restr staff were incredible. Our dinner at the restaurant was the best of our entire trip. I had the catch of the day and my husband has a steak. I will highly recommend to anyone going to the big island in the future.

Pros Easy/friendly checkin Proximity to volcanoes national park Cozy/comfort/clean rooms and property Cons(very minor) Shower hot water was reversed than typical hence had to contact staff re lack of hot water. Mattress could be firmer.

Loved this establishment. The room was clean and came with nice added touches. Hot tub was wonderful. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The restaurant was very yummy!

What a wonderful resort that's only a 5 minute drive to the entrance of Volcano National Park. The rooms are quaint with little fireplaces, a comfortable bed and bath. Hot tub to enjoy. Had breakfast at the restaurant and enjoyed crab cake eggs benedict and corned beef hash. Laid back and relaxing!

The room:clean, no TV😁 and simple. The property was well kept, it was quiet and close to the entrance of the Volcano. Breakfast was delicious ! We would definitely stay again.
