I liked the area which is a monument of France and the nearby park, I didn't like the fact of not being able to see the Roland Garros because they don't have a TV. Also Breakfast did not seem that appealing for the price. There was no clarity as to where the C10 could be found, the exits of the Gare are multiple. It would help if it was described as on the same pavement as the Lille Europa station.

Very fun, cute place to stay. Our kids loved it. Front desk clerk was so friendly and helpful.

Check in was fine The family villa is very specious and comfortable, the 2nd floor wood has some holes in it which made my kids afraid to walk on the floor. Shower had very weak ventilation and therefore was smelly after short use

It was not so clean in the sanitary facilities. Neighbourhood is quite noisy. Overall, it is an acceptable place to stay. But, I think it's somewhat overrated.

Convenient location, easy to see all sites in Lille from the hostel, both a full kitchen and a bar with food downstairs are available. Staff was very nice and helpful.

This hostel is very close to Lille city center, 10 mins walking, in a beautiful neighborhood with many fashion shops,bistros, cafes and restaurants. There is a typical French style living around the premises. There is a bar that is open in the evenings and many locals come to enjoy a drink and there is a good energy in the place. Staff is very nice, helpful and friendly. Breakfast is served in the morning for additional cost. The hostel kitchen is quite spacious. I spent two nights in this hostel and I liked it, in my next trip to Lille I will stay at this same hostel.

Don’t stay here, unclean bed and bathrooms and much of the facilities were broken

The rooms are great, the bed is very comfortable, but the bathrooms are terrible. There is no ventilation and you cant breathe if someone is taking or recently took a shower. Other than that everything was fine. They serve good quality drinks for reasonable prices and the staff is very kind.

Compare to other hostels in Paris, it is average. Particularly the male toilet and shower are not good.

Friendly place and great atmosphere ! I had a comfortable stay and enjoyed the people I met. Highly recommend if traveling solo!

The positives: The bed was real good and the room was clean and did not stink. The common room looked really nice and there was free coffee in the morning. It's right in the old part of town. You won't be needing any public transportation for exploring. The negatives: The Wi-Fi is just average. I couldn't even watch YouTube on its lowest setting without constant loading screens. And I had 4 bars on the Wi-Fi connection. The shower is just bad. You cannot regulate the heat and the nozzle is fixed and small. Also there is barley room for your clothes. Please put up and extra hook.

It was good but in the last 2 days a group of agressive men came to the room and stayed for 2 days and this was very noisy

If you want somthing cheap and close by to bars and restaurants. . Then this is the place to stay. Rooms are at the back on the hotel which means it's quiet and cannot hear outdoor noise. The front of the hotel is a bar. This was my 1st experience at a hostel. The staff was super friendly and helpful and spoken good English. Provided me with travel adaptor and padlock. There was breakfast for €5 at the hostel too. Good for backpackers and solo travelers.

It was a super fun, clean, spacious place to stay. My friend and I stayed in a private room with a private bathroom. Super affordable and there is an option for breakfast and a bar downstairs. Oh also has a full kitchen at disposable for all residents. Awesome place !!

Very friendly welcome, not what I was expecting but very good value for the money

All was good, except the shower. I had to push the button to make it work every five seconds, it was difficult ti regulate the tempereture of waters and the power of stream.

Hostel very nice, with atmosphere. Wish I could have stayed a bit longer...

I had been travelling up through Europe after spending some months in Lesvos, Greece. I had stayed in hostels in Hungary and Germany - Lille was my last stop before home, and it was a genuine relief to have found a decent hostel. The others I had stayed in were so different, even for politeness of staff, a bit shockingly bad in Berlin as well. It was a relief to be served by genuinely welcoming and helpful staff, the room and bed was perfect and the atmosphere of the place made it better than a hotel, somewhere between a hostel and a hotel. Lille is a favourite city of mine, and this will be a place to recommend and stay in next time I am there.
