Absolutely, the best place to stay in Porto to experience this beautiful city.

I can only give good remarks on every aspect of this hotel. For some people it might be a bit loud because you hear bustling noises from the promenade along the river in front of the hotel, but only till a certain time in the evening.
You won’t regret to spend nights in this hotel.

Excellent stay at the Porto River. The only mistake we made is NOT having them organize our taxi ride from the train. We took a taxi, but he wouldn't take us down to the river and we had to walk down the hill to the hotel. The hotel had offered, but we didn't think it was a big deal to have them order the taxi but it WAS. We had them order the taxi BACK to the station and it can come down to the entrance of the hotel so you don't have to lug your luggage!!! Otherwise, everything was great. Good breakfast, great restaurant, very clean and neat and in a lively area.

The hotel is located behind the Chez Lapin restaurant, this should be noted in their instructions because they are misleading and finding the hotel might be challenging. Great hotel great location, nice people working there! Would totally recommend it! Just make this precision on your notes please.

We visited Porto River Hotel during our honeymoon and had an absolutely amazing stay. From the moment we walked in the staff was very welcoming and we stayed in a room with a River view which was well worth it. The location could not have been better with the hotel being above one of the main river walk areas with plenty of restaurants and street performers that made it fun to be staying near all of the action. It was a cozy but updated room that felt like home and we had a delicious breakfast with a beautiful view as well. The staff left a handwritten note and bottle of sparkling wine for the occasion which made it so special!

Great location, right in the heart of historic Porto. There is no parking, if you rented a car there’s a garage nearby that was about 100 euro for 2 nights. The hotel doesn’t validate parking or anything. Staff is friendly, there are many places to eat and grab a drink. Lots of sights to see very close to this hotel. Overall, good choice.

It was extremely difficult to find this place. Conflicting addresses, and in a very busy place that taxis could not find, nor enter because it is business district. The hotel could do a much better place of describing how to find the entrance to the hotel.

My air conditioning didn’t work in my apartment, they moved me to another room which was smaller and the ac worked there. Next day they moved me again to my original apartamento and the ac only worked during the day in the living room. At night the ac stopped working again, I didn’t even bother to let them know again since it was 11 pm. Basically didn’t sleep well for 2 nights. I wouldn’t stay here again they never resolved my issue

We liked this property very much, but it was difficult to find it. The taxi couldn't come down to drop us close to the property because of activity near the hotel by the river. It was kind of "hidden" next to a restaurant owned by the hotel. Other than that the place was excellent and I would recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay! The building has a lot of charm yet the studio unit had a modern kitchen and bath. The room was quite large and right on the river with floor to ceiling doors opening up for a spectacular view. The staff were very helpful both in advance of our stay and while we were there. They have an arrangement with a quaint restaurant next door,
Chez Lapin, which we visited while awaiting our 3pm check in time. Note that is a strict time, no early check in. Would recommend highly and would stay here again.

Loved the view, being right on the promenade, watching the buskers, boats and people right from our windows. We had 3 big windows that opened and another two in the hall way. The room was bright an airy and just perfect for us. What a fantastic start to our trip !!

Location right in front the door river. The rooms are great, spacious and contemporary design. It got everything you need. Kitchenette, coffee machine, kettle , etc. Vinicius kindly gave us an upgrade. The only issue we had was the air-con. It has many issues . The second night we were sweating all night and no one could help out until 9am the next day cause there is no staff at front desk but a security overnight.

The staff was really helpful and went out of the way to make sure our linen was allergy-friendly. The location was perfect, we could open the windows and listen to live music right in the river's edge, and see the bridge Luís I. A great stay, thanks Porto River

We loved our accommodations in Porto! The location was excellent and right on the river. The room was very large and clean. The staff was very helpful and kind. If you are driving, you will have to park in a garage nearby. The cost was around 30 euros per day, just so you are aware. Everything was wonderful and we would definitely stay again! Shout out to Pedro for helping us with our room key!

This was a really cute hotel with alot of character. Our room had an excellent view of the river and the rest of the city. You will hear the singers in the street throughout the day and into the evening, but we loved this. The staff were very helpful and welcoming throughout our stay.

Had a wonderful stay at the Porto River . The staff was amazing and took very good care of us. It was in a central location right on the water front. Our view was amazing both daytime and nighttime. The room had such unique charm and had everything we needed. Highly recommend this hotel if in Porto!
