Fast to down town. On main route and near grocery market. Natives wandering through two different mornings and banging on door 7:15 AM Door sticking bad and not opening proper. Towels tattered with holes.

The property is dated but the room was clean and quiet and everything was in working order. It was a very good value.

After reading some of the reviews for this property I was skeptical. The room was clean, the staff at checkin was very pleasant. The building is older but I got what I expected and would stay again.

Staff at the facility were welcoming and kind. Facility was dirty, poorly maintained, and in need of significant upgrades.

I woke up with around 50 bites all over my body. This shouldn’t be a Expedia property the housecleaning is very bad. Bed bugs and black mold on the bottom mattress.

The room looked like clean although very old and small. The white bathroom towels were all stained.

The family room was acceptable. The AC did not reach into the second room. No extra washcloths. (really?)

Not a great place to stay. The motel was run down, the room was not very well maintained. There were cracks in the paint and holes in the curtains. The A/C unit sounded like a jet engine when it started. No breakfast and I had to pay for ice. However, the bedding and the room were clean.

it is exactly as the name says: a Budget Inn. it is very basic, small, old, but clean enough and with a comfortable bed. lodging in Durango is expensive so that also drives the price up of the Budget Inn. The stop of the (free) trolley bus to downtown is next door; perhaps the best perk.

Looks like facility is getting some updates. Room was clean & comfortable, nothing fancy, good location away from downtown traffic and a decent room rate.

Screaming outside all night. Room smells like cigarettes and the bed is very uncomfortable. Tv doesn’t change volume. Bathtub is really gross. They advertise at $54 a night but charge double. Not worth $110 a night at all. I didn’t sleep.

The front door had a 4” gap you can see under! No threshold. We had to put a towel rolled up to keep noise out!

The parking was a mess- the way they directed me to park in my assigned spot ause me to go over a BIG bump and drop in the dark, scraped the bottom of my car pretty hard. PArking lot in general was a mess. Room was TINY, the sheet was too tiny for the mattress and came off in the night, pillows were old, mattress was saggy. Manager and front desk guy were great! But I would not stay there again unless I had no other choice. I've stayed at several cheap motels in Durango, but I would not stay at this one again by choice. No toiletries, no breakfast, spend a few extra bucks next time.

Very old. No closet or anywhere to hang up clothing. Not even a rack to hold a suitcase. No Kleenex or shampoo. No safety chain on the door. Paid $243.22 for 2 nights. Desk clerk was night but the rest was anything but “budget”!

Durango is a nice city but when it comes to hotels you get what you pay for.

Good value for the money

I loved how close it was to things. The beds on the other hand need to be replaced as the one I was in sank in the middle and made noise.

Front desk service was courteous. Older facility but what I expected for the price. Only real negative was the comfort of the bed which is a big one. Mattress sagged to one side and I had to use a pillow as a shim under my left side to keep from leaning. Could not have taken a 2nd night on that bed.

We had the best stay at this Old but maintained Budget Inn, worked perfectly for us. The manager John was amazing, very helpful and kind, and we made good conversation. Thank you so much, we wish you all the best.

Friendly people

Friendly staff. Easy to check in and out. TV worked. The remote control on the A/C was not working but I stood on a chair and got it going. It cooled the room quickly.

Picture does not represent property. Let’s just say I kept my shoes on at all times and did not shower in the tub that has moldy caulk.

This is our second trip where we have stayed here. It needs some updates but is clean and a good price. We love that it is right by the trolley line for downtown. We enjoy riding the trolley.

Greeted well, super fast check in. I asked for a recommendation on a good place to eat. Spot on, great meal. Parking is a little "crammed", i was glad i was on a motorcycle. Parking-right at the door-I like it. Opened the door and the thermostat said "heat only", I thought " you have got to be kidding", but then i saw the air conditioner on the other wall. Crisis averted. Basic motel for a basic one night stay. This place is the first place I have seen in a while that has glass glasses. Great nostalgic touch! Clean room, quiet spot. Thank you.

A bargain in Durango.

outmoded and dirty interior, but decent place to stay for the night. close to major road, so lots of noise from cars during day and evening.
