The hotel itself was wonderful! It was clean, comfortable, and the breakfast was phenomenal. My issue came in with one of the front desk staff, Michael. Now let me preface this by saying the other staff (including Jayla at the front desk and one other absolutely wonderful lady at the desk) were wonderful. Everyone else was so kind. We experienced a family emergency that made us have to leave a day early. We reached out to the front desk the night before checking out to let them know and asked if a refund was possible and was told yes with directions by a kind woman at the front desk. The morning of checking out, my husband went down to the front desk to let them know and double check again. This time, Michael was at the front desk and told my husband no, no exceptions. He said we could leave whenever we want, but you’re not getting your money back in a rude tone. My husband asked for his name and he just pointed to his name tag - my husband told him he didn’t have his glasses on so he couldn’t see it. Overall just poor customer service. I understand if they have their rules, but the way it was handled was outright terrible. I will say, Jayla needs a huge shoutout. When we went to officially checkout shortly after, Jayla was there and we explained what happened. She gave us her personal email and assured us it would all be taken care of, and profusely apologized for Michael’s behavior. She absolutely went above and beyond to right his rude behavior.

We had a great experience all round! Unfortunately the dryer didn't work for us to dry our towels after 6 kids went for a swim. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The location was great for dining and shopping as well as closeness to the beach. Loved that they had a parking garage to avoid extremely hot cars. Pool is very small and where it sits the building blocks all sun. Anybody can get in or out of the pool gates. Housekeeping is only every other day but we were not told that so we had no idea until our room wasn't cleaned. The room we had was nice but layout wasn't the best. Not a lot of walking room. Bathroom sliding door doesn't stay closed. Walk in closet was nice but needs a light switch. Front desk staff was great.

Its has very large bathroom and Apollo couch which necessary for my family. We were able to come directly to our room when we arrived after a 7 hour long drive. That was amazing!!

Great location - Just 10-15 minutes to downtown Charleston and 10 minutes to Sullivan Island beach. Room was very clean and comfortable. Great breakfast in the morning with lots of choices. I would definitely stay there again!

This SpringHill Suites didn’t have the bathroom “split” where there’s one room with the shower and sink and another room with the toilet and another sink. We missed not having that with our family of five. The day staff were professional and lovely and the night staff seemed angry at the guests. lol.

Quite, staff was very nice and friendly, continental breakfast was good. Did not like : frosted glass on bathroom slide door, Pet friendly hotel( had friends that had to be moved because fleas were all in their room need more chairs and tables on balcony outside of bar area Bigger pool and the water warmed

Hotel is unappealing at the entrance. The front service desk clerks had a poor attitude and not welcoming at all. They became argumentative over a charge to the room that was not made by us and that point was proven by the manager DaJohn. There were no apologies after they knew they were wrong and were very dismissive. Under staffed in the breakfast area for a holiday weekend.

Nice location to walk to Patriot’s Point and the Waterfront Memorial Park. Many restaurants within a short drive.

Overall good hotel, but some things were not satisfactory: the staff at the front desk was not very kind, room cleaning was only every other day, and cleaning quality was poor (did not replace used cups, for example)

The receptionist was welcoming and helpful upon arrival. The hotel is very clean and good linens. Convenient to attractions and water taxi to Charleston. Breakfast was plentiful and plenty of attendants keeping everything clean.

I loved everything about this property! Safety and easy parking were key. Easily accessible to Mt. Pleasant and Charleston. It took us a few minutes to figure out where the front door was! We kept walking around the building until we saw someone going up the elevator. I would include that in your confirmation letter.
